Found my leak - should I try to dry out the area?

I found my leak/ It was at the edge where the roof meets the side. I've taped it with Eternabond, and now am wondering whether I should do something to try to dry out the area that go wet....

It would have been best to dry the area before applying the Eternabond.
But, I would still try to dry it as best as possible without removing the E/bond.
