You never did, I was refuring to a thread i started about a new GM recall and was called a troll, why, because I work for Chrysler. Funny thing I have posted Chrysler recalls but never got called a Troll then.

I was making the same point, there are plenty of Ford and GM guys doing the exact same thing. That was the point I was making.

OP, if you already have it, it is an old truck with an expensive to repair engine. I have an 05 F350 6.0 with 230,000 miles on it. Great truck but I'm not hauling a house across the country with it. Go find a good Ford Truck shop that won't rip you off. A friend buys 6.0's because he gets them cheap. Then he throws a grand in it and drives the******out of it, sells it for a profit and does it again. If you remember it's not a gas engine and do what you are suppose to do, then it's a great truck. Remember it's a 12 year old truck.

My new truck only cost just under $50,000 but it's a gas engine. A lot of people can not afford to buy a new truck so they buy used. It all depends on how it was taken care of, no matter what the brand they all break.

Now for the haters on here. I would love to have you guys camped next to each other. Then the thread would read. " The stupid camper next to me called me stupid". With all the bashing on here it's amazing anyone comes here at all.

p.s. if OP did a search, they would of found all the 6.0 bashing

Someone asks about a PSD 6.0 (OBTW we've owned like 6 of em) and a Ram guy show's up telling his experience with em and we're bashers :W
Then the local Ford salesman (err Ram hater) steps in with his usual bashing of Ram on a Ford thread..... Go figure :H

Many at the beginning stated, that a warning was in order for Diesel newbie, but with the correct knowledge and an investment after purchase the 6.0 could be a decent diesel.

The issues is many looking at the 2003 to 2008 6.0's are looking at a "deal". which has a higher likelihood turning into a financial disaster.

ALL diesels have their issues, my generation has the VP$$ (AKA Bosch VP44 injection pump). There was also the 53 block, and killer dowel pin issue. Most preventable for a less that $600 investment.
