Imagine 2800bh slide closed no access to bedroom?

I could not access the bathroom with the slide in either. So i reversed the bath door and , presto , i can get in with slide in....easy...might work with the bedroom too.

Must be the cable system. My Northwood Fox Mountain has the old school rack slide mechanism. The slide floor is about 3/4" above the main floor when it's in. I called Northwood and they said they have no problem with the slide being used while it's in.
With that being said I'm still uncomfortable walking on it so I simply put a 12"x4"x3/4" piece of wood under the slide when we pull it in. We are able to access everything in the trailer except one rear recliner and the tv.

We have to put the slide out about a foot to get bathroom access. A slight hassle at times, but I've never been in a spot where I couldn't slide it out when needed. Our slide comes out 3 feet and that is not a problem in a Walmart parking lot. We did stay at a Cracker Barrel once with our old trailer and that might have been a problem with this trailer as you are in a parking spot, not just out in a big lot with extra room. The only time we've been in a howling storm we just stayed in the truck till the storm passed as it seemed safer than the trailer, this was just as we pulled into a Walmart.

X2, it all depends on how you will use your TT. For me I like being able to get to the bed, bathroom, and fridge and it is possible even with our 5 slides but I guess some designers just don't think about it.

If a slide blocking the bedroom is a deal breaker or not is a personal decision based on how you intend to use the camper. For me, 99.9999% of the time I use the inside of the TT I put the slides out. I wouldn't let something that might come into play maybe once every year or two be the determining factor for a TT purchase.

Same here, and it was emphasized by the tech during our PDI as well. I'm not sure who manufactures the slide out system for the TT.
