They unfortunately do not transfer, a fact I knew when I purchased.
However, this issue is not associated with a premature failure as one would expect a warranty to cover. It is fact a latent defect that warranty aside, began on an 8 month old unit. Due to a series of misdiagnosis by my purchasing dealer the defect was not discovered until recently.
My issue lies in that, despite my purchasing the unit used, there still exists some expectation of quality on an 8 month old camper and had Keystone's dealer been competent enough to identify the issue at initial inspection (or subsequent visits) I would not be facing a large portion of rotten floor.
I am of the opinion I took all reasonable measures to address the issue from the onset by taking it to the dealer several times and immediately notifying Keystone and the dealer, and preventing further damage by sealing the holes when I determined the root cause on my own.
Understand the dealer is not without fault here, however the defect ultimately lies with Keystone.
