Perhaps you could make one or have one made from "Delrin" plastic (AKA Acetal copolymer)
This stuff has high strength, stiff, good wear properties, low friction and is very machinable. Available in sheets or even rod forms.
A bit pricey but in some applications well worth the cost.
Heck, if you find a machine shop that would be willing to make you some you might have a market selling high quality replacements which will outlast the RV..
