Having said that I know someone who has a new 2021 Tahoe that had to have the lifters replaced due to a surging problem this year.
I am driving a Ford F150 because the GM lifter issues and Hemi cam issues.
The root cause for the Hemi cam issue is the lifters fail first and then take out the cam.
