New to us Keystone Passport 199ml

Question

My wife and I are new owners of a little 2011 Keystone Passport 199ml. I found the unit about 4 miles from my home. It was kept in a shed and in excellent condition. New tires with a new hitch included. I go to pick it up tomorrow. Just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this small unit. Seems to have most things covered construction wise.

As a returning camping veteran of 25 plus years, does anyone have a special recommendation for preventative maintenance on the rubber roof?
The unit will be housed in a metal garage when not used. Just wanted some insight on the unit and rubber roof coatings.

Don't know what kind of rubber roof you have but on my BIL"S Passport it is not a walk on roof.  Check to make sure before you get up there.  A half sheet of plywood will disburse the weight if you need to get up there.

Thank you for the heads up. I would say you are correct. It is lightweight and easy to pull.

We had a 2011 Keystone Passport and it was a "walk on roof" per Keystone.

In my experience it was walk on if you weighed 95 lbs and were 4'-11 tall with women's size 4 feet. They had 8mm (5/16") plywood stapled to stamped steel rafters with smooth shank staples. If you went on it even with sheets of foam or plywood to spread the weight, the staples would still start pulling out. You could then see them through the rubber membrane.

Dealing with Keystone is something I would like to forget, they're pricks.
