To the OP, Nissan is one of the few manufactures that will specify a max pin weight for each trim level of the truck so check this out before you buy. Some of the new 5th wheels are being designed with less pin weight to fall better in line with SAE tow standards. If it were me I wouldn’t exceed 1800 lbs max, but there are quite a few that are towing with pin weights that are higher. If there’s any doubt then move up to a higher rated truck for sure.
