Old Friends

I think this weekend will be crazy down this way, I had to run up to the Inner Harbor yesterday and they had 3 lanes open coming back across the bridge and traffic was heavy, if it is that bad on Tuesday I can't imagine what it will be on Friday.

Mellow, Thank you for the kind invitation. We're just starting to think about getting the TC out of mothballs. We bought our Bull Pen pass last week, a very good first step. The Bay Bridge on Memorial Day weekend is tough, we are planning a trip to upstate NY, our first , weekend after next, to be with friends and family for a Memorial.

We'll see you on the sand soon! A few days on our beloved Assateague Island are just what the Doctor ordered!

Skip, so sorry to hear about your loss, if you come down to Assateague this weekend I will have a cold beer waiting for you in the bullpen. Some fishing & quiet might be just what the doctor ordered.

Tho we've never met, I feel we know each other, from our long chats here for all these years. We too have confronted big changes that helped curtail our wanderlust. The loss of our first son three months ago has been devastating. I'm back here because it helps. Linda has been wounded but carries on with majesty.

We're just now considering getting the TC back in service. I've still got the Smokey Mountain NP high on our bucket list, at present its a definite maybe. "Life", as John Lennon once said,"is what happens to you as your busy making other plans".

You recovered quickly from your surgery and that the chemo is working.

I can't tell AFib... but I now have it... I spent a week in the hospital about a year ago... they finally got it with multauq and elequist

How are you doing?
No, I am not in Arkansas or Mo is I am having to do 12 weeks of cardio rehab after having a new aortic valve put in.While helping after the tornado in Hattiesburg,Ms after first of year I got to feeling bad and that was the result. Very lucky that the valve was put in through an artery in my groin area. Went in hospital one morning and went home at lunch the next day. My wife and I have been very busy with disasters lately. she was able to go between chemo treatments. We did five in a row and were able to help so many.
We went looking for a small 5th wheel or travel trailer we can take on our missions. I work,she gets everything organized. take care and give me a holler some time.
