Old reliable took a Dump!

Well after eight faithful years my black Ford F 350 finally met its maker..Fuel milage on the V10 and repair cost climbing due to corrosion.. I traded the ol' girl in..

Found a beautiful 2008 with 80k miles 6.4D.DRW.

I know its a long bed but keep in mind the center of gravity is still over the rear axle @ 41"s..

The small gap up front is great for us to store all of our extra beach needs.. Maybe even an extra water tank if I can find one soon.

    Is it because of the footprint? It would seem to me to be a compaction issue and you get less compaction from Dualies per sq!!! HUMMM! Another example of the infinite wisdom of the unkowing. (I took the remainder of this sentence off my post) I am for presevation but come on!!! Sand that get messed up by the sea and storms.

    I was thinking the same thing . Anyone know of a listing of beaches that allow DRW on the east coast ?

    Nice set-up. I have front rack just like yours being made as I type this. Probably the same guy, if he's @ the state border. Wouldn't mind meeting up when I come down to pick mine up,because I'd like to get some kind of rear deck like yours, hope you wouldn't mind me picking your brain a little about the deck, and running the beach on A.I. Sand is softer than I'm use to up here. Good luck with your new toy. Thanks K Mac.

    Sweet! Post a pic of all the stickers on the slide! When I was in TX on the GOM, I drove my dually onto beach pulling my boat...that was a blast to camp on beach. I envy the east coast beaches where it is allowed! More years of fun ahead!

    DRW did great in the sand..no problems
    My split fire DRW air system will be in this week..making airing down a snap for beach camping

    Looking good buddy. I just installed a rack on mine last night..Time for some rod holders..
