After talking to multiple rv dealers about wiring my truck to my camper, I came to the conclusion that there are a lot of dealers who want to take short cuts. Most dealers wanted to remove the Lance proprietary 6 pin plug off the camper and replace it with a standard 7 way flat blade type plug. I really don't want to do that, as Lance uses 8 gauge charge line for the fridge. I finally went over to a Lance dealer, galaxy campers in ontario, ca, and discussed my needs with him. He suggested a battery isolator and offered to install a lance original harness into my truck. Price was great for the harness, isolator and labor to install it all. I was there for 15 minutes, and I felt like I was part of the family as I was leaving. I look forward to finally getting the truck wired. Right now I'm using magnetic tow lights to drive around with. They work. But they aren't ideal.
