So we should forsake all the advancements in performance and potential because philosophically some love Diesel engines? That makes a lot of sense.
Life is short, and for some of us non old farts, we have 2 weeks to get across the comtinent, settle in relax and get home. A truck that let's me go 70 uphill and get around all the 90's diesel trucks (:-)) that go slow with drivers who have nothing but time to kill.
^^^a little bit of sarcasm, but you get the point. Any basic truck will do what I ask, the ED won't. I'm all about cheap miles, so my next truck could be anything. Some on this site are delusional about the ED. I am considering the new cummins 5.0, the 2.7TT, even a Ram, but not the ED, the 3.6 is flat out a better deal, and I won't have to explain to my wife why it takes an hour longer to get places, or why I paid an extra $80 a month for the pleasure, and $160 oil changes and so on....
