The larger campers

Question

I have a 2002 f350 dually, 7.3 PS, 4 wheel drive, 4door.Would like to go to a larger TC with slides 2 or 3. Instead of putting after market parts on the F350 would the new 2015 F450 be a option.Thanks

Yes, it would be an option although from a strictly payload point of view, the F350 is rated higher due to spring differences and the heavier F450.

Check for yourself to be sure.

Load Specs Trailer Specs450 can carry less but pull more.2016 Should be different with the throwback F450 like Jim has.

I've been told the 2 slide Host is lighter than equivalent 1 slide Arctic Fox.

I have always thought that an F-550 would make more sense for the heavy TC's if you were looking at a 450.
