TV mounts in Reflection 315RTLS

We recently took delivery of a new GD Reflection 315RTLS, and are looking to mount a 32" flat-screen on the bedroom. Over the dresser, there is a cabinet that has 2 doors on the wings and a blank center section marked with a sticker "TV Mounts". I cannot tell what is behind this paneling, or how thick it is. The bracket that I got has 2 3" lag bolts for mounting the bracket in a wall with studs, but I kinda doubt there are studs back there.

So my question is - has anyone mounted a TV in this model or any similar model? i was kind of thinking of using 1-1/2 wood screws, but I'm not sure what they will be going into. Any thoughts?

    No, I did not get the rear camera kit ( at least not yet). I figured that any space that I have to back in, that's the wife's job to watch the back side. She gives great hand signals! She can also yell very loudly.

    IT SHOULD GO VERY WELL. THE BRACKET I USED IS A CLOSE MOUNT WITH A TINY BIT OF TILT. ANYWHO, LOVE OUR UNIT AND I'M SURE LOVE YOUR TOO ! DID YOU BUY THE REAR VIEW CAMERA ? WE DID. IT WORKS WELL MOST OF THE TIME. SOMETIMES ON THE ROAD IT WILL LOOSE SIGNAL THOUGH.

    I agree on the easy towing. I had the dealer put an Equalizer 1400/14,000 lb. hitch on it and I pull it with a 2016 Silverado 2500 / Duramax engine. It pulls like a dream and the truck rides amazingly well. Sway is virtually non-existent. That will make me a happy camper!

    I did some careful measuring and I should be able to mount my 32" LG in the space. I have a tilting bracket and IF I tilt it just a bit, I believe that I can open the doors with the TV in place. I'm going to mount the bracket this weekend and give a try. If it does not work, I have a 24" that I know will fit. I just want the 32" LOL. We'll see.

    I have the same unit. I bought a 32" tv to install in the designated place. It was too big ! You could not open the cabinet doors without removing the tv. I ended up buying a 24" tv and its almost too large. There must be plywood behind the paneling because my lag screws were going in something thick. It hangs there just fine and is plenty large enough for viewing for the bed. We love our Reflection. Our last camper had storage in the rear and we could not keep tires on it.     Nice camper! I'm a bit biased though ;)

    I asked a GD rep during our factory tour and was advised that there is a thin sheet of metal behind the mounting area.

    We actually do exactly what Texbahrs does and just put our LCD on the bed during transit and on the dresser while camping.

    Glad to see some 315 owners on here!

    We have the same TT and instead of mounting a tv to the wall we just put it on the dresser. When traveling, we place it upside down on the bed.

    If you really prefer to mount it on the wall, you should buy a mount made specifically for RVs. They use much smaller screws but more of them (10-12) to spread the tv's weight across them. You can do a Google search to find one.
