Friend has a 2011 forest river TT. I'm trying to locate the switch to convert from propane to electric. Any ideas on location?

Some have two switches, mine only has the one outside. Check the breaker for the water heater if it's not tripped the element may be shot.

There should be a switch mounted inside the camper some where.

Nothing happened when the switch was turned on. Had to shut off and go back to propane.

That switch just enables the electric element. Propane would need to be turned off separately. Nothing wrong with using both when fast recovery is needed.

Make sure the heater is full before switching on power. If not you will blow heating element instantly. I usually switch the heater off and also switch off the circuit breaker in converter panel.

Lower left corner on the water heater turns on the electric element.

You don't say what brand WH, but the suburban heaters often have the electric switch on the outside lower left.
