Looks great, not “lower end.”

Our neighbors have that exact floor plan on their 2016 Sonoma. In my opinion it is the best floor plan in the 28’ Length. Be careful with this trailer, because it has a GVW of around 9,600 lbs which will be quite a bit towing with a 1/2 ton. Our neighbors tow with a RAM 3/4 ton with the 6.4 gas. I tow mine with the same truck, except the 6.7 Cummins.

Looks like it's almost 33 feet to me. That's a lot of trailer for a 1/2 ton. I have the rk floor plan in a Surveyor and we love it. Good luck with your new trailer!

Time to go up on the roof and check the sealant up there too. That's far more important than checking inside for evidence of a leak.

Any spots that need attention, the dealer needs to fix them before you take delivery.

Congrats on the new TT! There is mountains of room in that floorpan. Indeed, patience pays off, usually big time.

As stated above, it's quite large for a 1500 so might be a good idea (if not already equipped) to add air bags and some extra sway control, just to be safe. All can be had for around $800 total and will offer less white knuckle travels.

We roll with a little less than 1000lbs of cargo. I'm not coming close to maxing out the CCC of the trailer. I also have a 10k Equalizer hitch. As far as the length goes, my last trailer was 33' and I towed that with an '01 Ram with the Equalizer without a problem. I may do bags, we'll have to see how it tows. I did upgrade my rear shocks to KYB Monomax's. They're made for towing and hauling and are designed to do better with weight added. They are much more stout than the soft OEM shocks.

When loaded for the road, that trailer will likely have 1000 lb of tongue weight, which counts as cargo in the truck. Make sure you don't exceed the payload rating of the Ram, which can be found on the sticker inside the driver's door.

I love this floorplan. We have a newer fifth wheel and it's a mid-bunk because we have kids, but we were helping friends look for a new TT and we saw this one. There is nothing in it that I did not like except for the shower. I don't like the rounded shower stalls because they limit movement, but it seems that this is the only kind of shower they put in the TTs or a little tiny tub. They have also fallen in love with this floorplan and they are now trying to find this floorplan in a unit that is sold by a dealer within a few hours driving distance. (I told them that this doesn't need to be, but that's what they want to do.)

the floorplan is practically the same as the floorplan of the first TT wife and i had. it was a 2018 FR wildwood. 33ft bumper to bumper. many will bash the "lower end" FR products but our experience was great. Loved the floorplan for the wife, myself, and 4 small dogs. 18 months of owning it we traveled about 5000 miles, from north carolina to niagara falls, georgia, pennsylvania,mountains to the coast. Zero issues. i was meticulous with self maintenance and roof inspections. my TV is a ford f250 gasser so towing was never a problem. Our current TT is a 3 slide Keystone Laredo rear living room 37ft TT, bought 4 months ago. Good experience with it so far. even at 37ft we haven't had a problem fitting into state park sites or private campgrounds. I do miss the residential fridge in the Wildwood. tons of space. We don't boondock. I had 2 12volt batteries and 1200 watt inverter running the fridge when off shore power or traveling down the road. Now we have a propane fridge. i like it for the obvious reasons of operating on propane if needed. but do miss the space. Main thing is you found what you enjoy. don't sweat the small stuff and enjoy the RV life.

I've only had the truck for a couple of months so I needed to outfit it. That's all part of the fun. I ordered the brake controller on Monday and it came yesterday and it's in. Tow mirrors come tomorrow. Once we get the loan paperwork squared away the next thing is to schedule the walkthrough and pickup.
