Modify OR Access Easily Over cab Bed for the Older Camper
Have a 2011 24ft Fleetwood DSL on Sprinter Chassis. Forever I have been looking for a safe way for older folks to get into and out of top bunk (the lift up bed above the cab). The ladder won't work for us. We did use a secured rope to pull us up and let us down but searching for ladder with feet.. well its not safe. I have researched bunk bed stairs and other clever ideas. I would love to modify this top bed into drop down but the built in part looks very complicated to remove. Maybe it is not. I doubt seriously if hubbie would let me even attempt that. lol So every once in awhile I get looking again. Of course with all the head room in cab the upper bunk is too high to just stand on sofa and get up...I bet there is some clever solution out there? I even thought of motorized lift chair thing..some wild ideas appreciated. Hi there, I used to be able to print out NADA or Blue Book Values for my used RV's. That was always a guide line for my buyers and for my asking price. I have a 2011 Fleetwood Tioga Ranger 24 L Diesel but I cannot find a base line anywhere. Its strange I just know I am missing something in my search engine?. Hi since we took delivery of this Coach 2011 Mercedes 24 ft. Fleetwood Ranger DSL there has been a squealing squeaking sound from underneath area It seems maybe the brakes but it also happens when not applying the Brakes but when turning the wheels. We have had the Brakes checked out and they are good. We were told to consult a Mercedes Dealer and the only thing they suggested without looking at it...was to make sure the Pads were genuine Mercedes Pads. This happens both and hot and cold running. ok just bought our little 2011 Tioga Ranger 24L with a Solar Unit on Top which the Manual says is a Windy Nation. It also has a "box by the door low by step and house battery (?) which is called a Pulse Tech that has 4 differet lites indicating Power on Charge and Pulse Mode, Pulse Management and No connection. I downloaded both Manuals. When it was delivered the lites on the Pulse Tech were lit up all the time I believe on the one indicating Power on. The Tech came out to fix the slide out not going out (no power) and after he left we discovered that the lite no longer was working. When asked about it we were told it is a "dumb" addition to the system and it was disconnected prior to our purchase. which I believe he is mistaken on that.... We are told it can just be removed. It was connected and working but not now. The Dealer Tech does not feel it is worth fixing? perhaps that is why he disconnected it? so I am wondering why its there and what it is...seems to not match up with Windy Nation? I am just the non tech wife here trying to get a little grip on solar..it sure looks ugly all the sloppy wires and I would not mind having it gone? but the previous owner must have put it in for some reason...please no complicated replies....thanks so much..2.2KViews0likes5CommentsDiesel Generator Shuts Down When A/C turned off and on
