2017 f150 crew cab verses gmc Sierra 1500
I have ordered a new Jayco Whitehawk 27DSRL trailer. little over 6000 pounds empty with a max of 7500. 31 feet long with hitch weight of 685. Will be using weight distribution hitch. Looking at both of the above vehicle. I have dropped out the RAM due to low Payload. Too bad because I really like it! Ford the 3.5 Ecoboost with the 10 speed and the GMC with either the 5.3 or 6.3 and the eight speed. Any recommendations concerning one or the other? Anyone with this set up? 1/2 ton only, I want to fit in the garage. I want a good ride when no pulling since it will be my daily driver. Thanks. Thanks for all your great comments. Have looked at the Forest River Forester on the Mecedes chassis and the Winnebag Travato. The Travato is even smaller at 21 feet. Not sure I can my wife to go with this one. Should be so easy to handle compared to the 40 Monaco with a tow vehicle we used when we full times for 8 years.446Views0likes0CommentsDo you tow with your B?
I am considering getting a small 21 foot class b. One of the small units on a Mercedes chassis or Chrysler with. Travato. I am not interested in towing. I was a full timer for 8 years and toyed a Honda. Are any of you driving small a class b and not towing? Do you have any issues using the mh to run around in in plac of a car when you are out camping? If I decide to settle for a few weeks I would rent a car. Any of you doing this?
