Drove 8 hours round trip to inspect and drive a 2014 Newmar Bay Sport 2702. SWEEEET. Perfect size for the two of us. The price ? not so perfect. I think I can arm wrestle or sweet talk, matter of opinion down some more. Searching on web for I can't find a "meeting price". So what would a smart girl do? Turn to my RV net buddies. ahhhh.. this brings back ugly memories. Soon after moving into the neighborhood my neighbor placed a copy of the HOA (i was told there wasn't HOA) in my mailbox with highlighted sections. One being RV's are not allowed and another cars parked on the street for over 4 hours. My daughters boyfriend did park on the street when he came over. Im not sure he stayed more than 4 hours. When he confronted me face to face I informed him that when the other RV's in the neighborhood were kicked out then I would lead the convoy. There were and still are several in my neighborhood . I never got anything from the HOA office. Now, after 10 years plus of the same neighbor. His children are grown. Cars parked all over the street for all night. He has 2 work vans in his driveway. One of his sons wore a cute little ankle bracelet for a while .. Funny how when its you breaking the precious HOA rules, its just not that important anymore. We have extended our cement drive to the side of our house and our splinter sits there .. next to his house ... SMILE1.3KViews0likes0CommentsRats!
yep rats. I'm so grossed out. We are clean people. HONEST. One day no inclining of rats. The very next day. Well,you probably know what I mean. The RV is parked on our driveway. So I googled. Immediately went out and covered the RV in peppermint oil, mothballs, irish spring soap, and cab fresh ... Took RV in because check engine light was on and was told rats have been dining on the wiring under the hood... Our yard is heavily wooded with a ton a leaves that fall in the fall .. LOL.. 2 weeks vacation coming up. DH wants to take the Class C to Aiken MN to visit his brother. WOW .. thats a looong way .. Like almost to Canada, right? This is a new C and only been out once to the campground up the road. Wouldn't is be smarter to fly.. Or have his brother come here? just picked up our first class c after numerous travel trailers.. BTW ..i love it... took her over to see our oldest daughter, her hubby and my 3 year old granddaughter.. of course had to go for a ride .. then left and went over to our younger daughter, her husband and my 6 year old grand daughter and 1 year old grand son .. of course had to go for another ride. My grandson called it a big bus... LOL .. will go for a short camp trip in a couple of days.. Have a ton of reading material to keep us occupied.
