I've got about 25,000 miles of experience with it. Poking around the the forum, I just learned there will be construction in the area. Maybe I'll have DW drive the car and not attempt to pull it. Your thoughts?Re: Savannah GA, Tybee IslandThere are a couple of routes to take through Savannah one of which does not allow trucks & RVs. Sorry I can't remember the street names. I followed my GPS and got on the wrong route. Our favorite RV park is Rivers End. County owned and full hookups. Located where the large rive dumps into the ocean. North on the beach and only a few blocks away to it and the light house. Nice area to bike. And the ocean breeze helps with the bugs.Northern CaliforniaSpending a couple of months in northern California. We've got a couple week long trips planned, but want to ask for suggested destinations and RV Parks. One specific question: Any problems pulling our toad on Highway 1 near Big Sur? I know this road can be somewhat curvey in places. Thanks for your suggestions.Northwest/Canada TripI'm planning a Northwest/Canada trip next summer to include: Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Glacier and Banff. Would appreciate RV park and route recommendations. Already reserved Fishing Bridge campground in Yellowstone for a week. Any other spots I should travel to while in the area? What are your favorite things to see? It's just me and my DW. Thanks for your help.Pull Cord for Awning hiddenThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 27848991Pull Cord for Awning hiddenThe last time I put away the RV I was in a hurry and the awning's pull cord got away from me and is now hidden within the rolled up awning. I can see the indentation of the cord under the awning, but can't quite reach it and can't seem to find a way to begin unrolling the awning so I can grab the pull cord. Any helpful hints would be appreciated. Who knew my haste would cause such an issue.Re: Mesa Verde, CO to Hot Springs, ARThank you all for great suggestions. I'm changing my travel plans to spend more time in this area so I can check out all the wonderful sites.Mesa Verde, CO to Hot Springs, ARTraveling from Mesa Verde to Hot Springs as part of our western U.S. loop trip and don't see any must see sites along this stretch, but I'm sure there are. Also see potential mountain range to navigate. Any suggestions on routes or places to see would be much appreciated. We are retired and travel in a Class C pulling a toad. We will be in this area in October giving ourselves about 10 days for this stretch. Again, thanks in advance for your suggestions.Yellowstone to SeattleGiving myself a week or so to travel from Yellowstone to Seattle early August. Appears Idaho is the most direct route, but the only thing I know about Idaho is that's where my baked potato comes from. Any suggested route or things to see on the way? I'm hauling the car with my Class C. Thanks.
