The generate has two circuits, shouldn't one AC be on each circuit? Is this normal or is this a Thor thing?Re: Customer service 2As I mentioned earlier in my post, I went my tires with a garden hose and drove in a straight line here is my tire prints. Thanks to the dude who showed me how to do this!Re: Customer service 2A men!Re: Customer service 2To those who think I should fix this with my own money. The name of the original post is customer service. As someone who's experienced the worst customer service, I feel that it's necessary for me to tell as many people as I can just how bad it has been dealing with Thor's warranty customer service department. They built a motorhome on a crooked chassis and will not take responsibility for it. I know I could just end the whole thing by dumping 5k-10k into it and fixing it but I don't feel that I should have to do that. When someone I've never met before tells me, "I should just fix it with my own money and get on with my life" my assumption is, they're paycheck says Thor on it. Marc DeNardoRe: Customer service 2The Ford dealer says there is no adjustment on the rear axle. He said the thrust angle is within specs. He said it can be off as much as.050 mine is off .042 When you are behind the rig as it drives down the road you can see the rear bumper is off 12 in hes from the front bumper. You can actually see the whole driver side of the coach. I think in addition to the thrust angle being off these fools built a out of rack and unplumb box. Is a bunch of other problems too but I won't bore you. It's funny because I want others to read my post and stay away from this company. Unfortunately as I read other people's post prior to my purchase I didn't listen to them. I figured it's probably just a bunch of whiners, surely all that coaches can't be bad. Marc DeNardoCustomer service 2I purchased my 2016 Thor Challenger 37kt back in December 2015. It's been in the shop 9 times. One of the main problems is a tracking issue. When you behind the motorhome you can see drive down the road crooked. I wet the tires with a garden hose and drove forward in a straight line. It allows you to see the tire tracks are not straight. The right side tire tracks show three tire marks on the right side the middle tire track being the front. But it only shows two tire tracks on the left side of the coach. That's because the front tire drives on the same track as the left rear tire. It's the oddest thing you've ever seen. There's actually a space between the two tire tracks. Being new here I haven't learned how to post a pic yet. They've sent me from Ford dealers to Ford dealer and repair shop to repair shop and nobody is willing to fix it. I wish they would just give me my money back for this POS. Marc DeNardoCustomer serviceHello folks, I'm new here. I've been RVing & camping since 1984. I've had six or seven travel trailers and two motorhomes. One travel trailer was one year old, one travel trailer was new and one motorhome was new. The rest were all used. I probably purchased 12 or 14 new vehicles in my life as well. The latest motorhome is a 2016 Thor Challenger. Literally since day one it's been a nightmare to own. The only thing that has made it worse is dealing with warranty expert employees at Thor. I wish I listen to all the naysayers about Thor quality. It is actually been the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Over the last year-and-a-half they have pawned me from one person to the next. I believe it was by Design to wear me down as each new person new little of my motorhomes problems. In my opinion Thor products are very appealing due to styling and amenities. I wish I did not allow those cloud my judgement. Marc DeNardoRe: Not to Happy with Thor or FordTo elaborate a little on why I brought up the rear cap being removed. I think they did it to SKU it towards the driver's side to give it the illusion that it's not crooked. I just don't see why else the cap would have been removed. Marc DeNardo marcdohcRe: Not to Happy with Thor or FordI appreciate the interest and empathy. I understand that there might be some doubt. Truth is a year and a half ago I took on a part time job. It's called dealing with Thors warranty department. It doesn't pay much but it's only 3-5 hours a week, but sometimes as many as 10! Kidding aside, which it's amazing I can still kid about this It literally keeps me up nights. To answer a few questions, Thor said they replaced the Hydo unit when it was in Indiana. It didn't come on when it wasn't supposed to for about 7 month's, but then it went back to it's old tricks. Just picture your family on board doing 65 mph at night and the pad suddenly comes on. What a shocker, you feel like you swallowed your lung. Regarding the extended chassis, Thor extended the chassis, after the rear axle. Regarding my local shop that did the spring work, I don't want to mention their name due to the fact I need them as this "issue" progresses. There service manager says the house is part of the problem. He said its either the house wasn't set right or the walls are not square. He said "believe me, they know" He said when this thing was in front of them they could see what I see. Thats when I remembered the rear cap. When I got home from Indiana last June I was washing my rig when I noticed the paint lines didn't line up at the rear where the cap meets the walls. After further inspection I noticed the cap was raised of the roof a 1/2" and that there was new sealer around the ladder bracket. I called thor and the service manager said " my guys did that on there own, I didn"t authorize that" I was flabbergasted! I got an estimate for paint that Thor thought was too high and I ended up settling for 1/3 of that price just to make it go away. As you can assume at that point I had had it. Also, last month after the local shop installed the xtra springs I brought my rig To Minute Man Ford in Mass. for an alignment. They set the toe on the front, he said the rear is at .042 and they allow .050 and it's not adjustable. He said He can see its off. He said Its an altered chassis and they don"t want to touch it. I offered to pay and he said no. When I got home I wet the tire and drove straight to leave wet tire tracks. What I saw was mind boggeling. the right set of prints were 3 tire mark's side by side. The center being the front tire. The left set of prints had only 2 mark's, a left a 6" space in the middle and a right mark. It blew me away, within Ford's spec my butt. It turns out the front tire rides on the same track as the left rear. Craziest tire marks I have ever seen. I know long post. Sorry, its a long story. More to come, Marc DeNardo aka marcdohcRe: Not to Happy with Thor or FordMy intentions was not to cause a scene. I just wanted to vent and share. Thor called me today and said they weren't too happy with my post. After reading some of the responses I think they actually might be Thor's employees responses. I'm very glad that my story has reached back to them. Marc DeNardo $120,000 12-01-15 American Rv Grand Rapids Michigan.
