Thanks!Re: Hot Chrome Diesel Exhaust Pipe ProtectionGreat idea! Will check it out.Hot Chrome Diesel Exhaust Pipe ProtectionI am purchasing a Hitch Mount Splash Guard that stretches across the rear of my motorhome to protect against rock chips hitting the front of my tow car. I understand that brushes will come in contact with my tail pipe, especially when going around a turn. I am looking for a product that can temporally be mounted over my chrome exhaust when pulling my tow vehicle to prevent this. I would like to be able to take it off when not towing, so a heat resistant tape probably wouldn't work as it would damage the chrome. Thank you.Re: Number of Labor Hours for a Towed vehicle install?I just learned to get another opinion. I got to compare a mostly Pull Behind RV Shop at $100/hr versus a mostly Motorhome dealer at $135. I favored the latter since they did a lot more tow installations and even though they were more expensive/hour the total hours would be less. I was really pleased with the bottom line plus I had more cofidence in the quality of their work. Thanks to all for helping a guy out.Re: Number of Labor Hours for a Towed vehicle install?A nightmare.Re: Number of Labor Hours for a Towed vehicle install? Also over estimating makes for a nice surprise for the customer and an even nicer “surprise” for the dealer. Thanks all for your replies. Looks like I have some research to do looking for estimated labor time for each part.Number of Labor Hours for a Towed vehicle install? What’s a reasonable number of a professional (Transwest RV) install labor hours for a towed vehicle install including everything (Blue Ox Tow Bar, Electrical, Blue Ox Face Plate install (‘18 GMC Canyon Pick -Up), Air Force One brake system, lights etc.). One estimate that I received so far is 14.5 hours. Reasonable or not? More/less, how many?Re: Used Country Coach Hesitancy? Thanks so much for the quick, informative replies. It's been > than 24 hrs. and I got tons of responses to my CC query. I'm feeling pretty good about my quest for a 36' Country Coach now. The conditions of a Wet PTO and Radiator concerns: Aren't they related more to Allison Transmission, Cummins/Cat or Dynomax rather than specifically Country Coach issues? Thanks again!
