I think the weak point in them is the bevel for the cheater vent must be a PITA to mold them.On a plus side new tank fittings were spot on.Re: Seized Onan...rebuild or replace? To bad Yamaha didn't make a replacement to fit in the same compartment . I have a 1800 inverter one that I use to run my 5th wheel. If I had a choice I would listen to that Yamaha all day sipping fuel instead of the microquiet. The only onan I liked was the 7500k diesel in my DP.Re: WINNEBAGO QUALITYNo the spin in fittings were fine . It was just cast to thin. $305.00 later and all is fine Installed the tank this FridayRe: Better way to stow 30 amp cord in small cubby holeBuy some SO wire whatever length you want and wire it in very flexible and you can go up in size for better amp capacityRe: WINNEBAGO QUALITYBOBBO---The Home of Hard Work and Innovation. At Winnebago Industries, items such as furniture, holding tanks, bumpers, and galley cabinets are literally "built from scratch" in our own facilities. We start with raw materials such as billets of aluminum, bulk dimension lumber, and pellets or sheets of plastic and end with finished products. Winnebago Industries operates what are clearly the largest and most sophisticated recreation vehicle (RV) production facilities in the world. Producing so much ourselves results in many benefits for owners of Winnebago Industries’ products. First of all, there is QUALITY. Since so much of each motorhome and travel trailer is made by Winnebago Industries in the heartland of the U.S.A., we can easily set and maintain the strictest quality controls possible. Also, doing it ourselves allows us to design to our needs and not use some off-the-shelf item designed for another use. Making it ourselves also gives faster turnaround on improvements and new designs. And, there’s the advantage of availability of replacement parts. Dies and molds are kept on hand. So, if you need a holding tank 10 years from now, you can get one. The tank was made by us, not by someone else who has long since gone out of business or shifted production.Re: WINNEBAGO QUALITYNo it's the water tank When they molded it you can see where it was really thin. At first I thought they might have nicked it with a saw or grinder when they installed the cheater vent for the shower drain. After I removed it you could clearly see where it was paper thin. Just disappointed that someone would install it like that.Held up for 8 years but filling with a 5/8 hose and having a 1/2 overflow I'm sure the pressure finally blew the thin part out. After a couple of 5th wheels and diesel pusher doing maintenance on them you really see how these rvs are put together.Re: WINNEBAGO QUALITYSorry its from a 2007 Cambria, poly water tank.WINNEBAGO QUALITYhttps://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=E86673A4EF34C2DC!1060&authkey=!AOX-yFurf4I51sg&ithint=folder%2cjpg I cant believe the rotocast manufacturer would build this ,and that Winnebago would install it.After having many different RVS I think the only way to get a quality one is to custom build one like the earth romer or something along those lines. They are all pretty much disposable rvs that are out there now.Re: WEATHER ALERT RADIOhttp://www.oregoninstruments.com/WR203-Oregon-Scientific-Advanced-Portable-Emergency-Alert-Radio-with-S.A.M.E-Technology.data
