There is no tourist attractions, unless you stop at the Missouri Dept of Conservation Tree farm. Other than that. You could take Hwy 60 east to Sikeston, and then on over to Paducah, Ky and up to 64 and across. Just depends if you like wide open spaces and not a lot of traffic or bumper to bumper on 44... JoeRe: Air Conditioner settings ricardo wrote: Your sensors may be fine. The problem is often their location. In our coach the rear sensor is under the cabinet over the bed. If the sum is on that side I may have to set the stat at 90 degrees to get a 77 temp in the BR. Even lights in the vicinity will heat up the sensor making the stat think it is warmer than it really is. Also unless the stat is set on Auto cool the fan will run continuously in all other modes Thanks, going to take the sensors apart tomorrow and see if they are dirty or ? The fans on my a/c's run all the time, even set on auto cool. But as I said earlier, some times late at night when the outside temps drop, they shut off. Makes no sense to me, I have never had a/c's that run all the time...Re: Motorcycle Lift on Sunstar 26PI had my Pace Arrow 33v checked and was told I would have to install the 3 point hitch system or weld everything to the frame(and maybe have to extend the frame. I did a lot of research and decided that I didn't want to invest the kind of money(3-6,000)plus install, depending on the brand you buy. Hydra-lift is the best, but made mostly for diesel pushers. I was told gas rigs just don't have the frame or suspension to safely carry a 800 lb bike + weight of lift. I just had a tow dolly modified to haul my Harley and car.Re: Air Conditioner settingsChecked the settings to make sure I had it correct. It says auto cool. The only way it shuts off is to turn the thermostat up until it quits and then it will come back on and run continuous until I turn it up. I am thinking my sensors might be bad..Anyone know how to check them... JoeAir Conditioner settingsMy rig has front and rear ducted a/c's. The control panel is in the bedroom and has the following settings. high and low fan, high and low cool, automatic and heat and off. When I set the front or rear unit to automatic or low/high cool the compressors cycle off and on, but the fan never quits blowing. Sometime during the night it will shut off sometimes, but usually comes right back on blowing room temperature air. Is there something wrong with my control panel, temp sensors or am I setting the unit incorrectly.. JoeToliet not holding waterI always leave a couple of inches of water in the toilet after flushing. But noticed today that after about an hour it had drained out. Took my toilet brush and cleaned the edge of the flapper and the seal. Is there something I can put on the seal to make it work? I like the water in the bowl to help keep down odor! JoeRe: no hot water in the coachMine does the same, and I have closed the bypass valve and the outside shower has no hose or shower head on it. So guess, I am looking a pulling the water heater out to check the valve if there is one. If not, guessing from previous answers I got that somewhere the plumbing on my rig has been replaced and put back incorrectly.. JoeRe: How can I take both my toys, Wrangler & HarleyI solved the problem by purchasing a used tow dolly, taking it to a local welding shop had the tongue extended 4 ft and square tubing frame built from the dolly's frame(bolted on) and welded to the tongue( approx. 70"x 70"), then a platform for the bike welded across the tongue to each side of the new frame, a ramp hooks on to the end of the platform and in removable when not needed. When loaded the bike and car are approximately 10 inches apart when the turn platform on the dolly hits the stops. I towed it from Missouri to east Tennessee with absolutely no problems and the motorhome drove fine. Guessing the tongue weight with the car and bike on the dolly to be approximately 500 lbs. There is no noticeable lowering of the rear of the motorhome when dolly is loaded. Total cost of dolly with new tires rated at 2180 lbs was 1400.00. Getting ready to have it sandblasted and coated with pickup bed liner. joeRe: Satellite HookupThanks to the prev owner, I have no idea which coax is from the rear cable connection or goes to the rear tv. I just use one of those flat cables made to go under door or window and hook my receiver to that and then to the dish. Makes hooking up and tear down easy. Have a 32 in Element Tv sitting on the dash on the wooden desk and it makes watching tv just like home no pain in the neck from looking up..LOLRe: Tow dolly tires sundance_8 wrote: I trashed 2 sets of bias ply tires on my dolly on our Alaska trip. Replaced the last set with radials and have approx. 5000 miles on them with hardly any noticeable wear. I'm towing a lighter vehicle now but still.... Been thinking about the same, think I will contact a couple of tire shops around here and see what a set of 15's in radial cost. Don't want no problems on my trip to Florida in Sept.
