All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Running Lights Stay ONthanks for all the reply's and suggestions. problem was the trailer plug, which I had wrapped in a plastic bag for the winter. moisture accumulated in the bag and 2 or 3 terminals were wet and rusted. the power was shorting across the terminals, thus turning on rear running light on......cleaned up and covered with dielectric grease...........Running Lights Stay ON2019 Rockwood Mini-Lite. camper parked, not hooked to vehicle. plugged into shore power. rear running light on ? must be a short. suggestions are to check plug on trailer for moisture or corrosion. any other suggestions for a short, thanks in advance.............ssFord Eco-Boost Towingcurrently towing a 5800 lb. TT, (dry wt.) with a 2012 3.5 eco-boost. tong wt. of camper 550. est. another 4-600 additional lb.s when fulled loaded. no problems pulling, climbing hills etc. very happy. put new Michelin E rated tires on this spring. considering a new TT 6600 lb. dry wt. 800 lb tong wt. while well within the range of the truck, wondering if anyone is towing this much with the eco-boost or a 1/2 ton. any thoughts appreciated.......steveRe: Need new tires...help?at trailer parts superstore, found load range D loadstar tires. hard to find 8 ply tires in a 14". just finished a month long trip and they ran and wore fine. just do the normal pressure checks, keep out of the sun and they will run fine for many years and miles............Re: gas refrig not starting2012 prime time tracer dometic refrig. never had an issue with system lighting beforegas refrig not startingon the road in va. gas refrig. not igniting. have gas, good battery, currently hooked up to shore power. any suggestions, thanks...........ssCamping I-81 South of Binghamton NYHeading out on a spring trip in 10 days for no. carl. will be traveling down the I-81 to roanoke va. first night probably near wilkes-barre pa. and night 2 near lexington va. any suggestions of campgrounds or wal-marts, thanks..........ssRe: slide out cable issuethanks for the suggestions. after removing 3 pieces of internal trim, I got to the cable system. one of the end nuts had vibrated off. after loosening a cable, was able to return system to good working condition. I nicely screwed the trim back into place, as over time these cables will need to be checked and or adjusted. now I can gain easy access to the whole cable system. rv units really should have been assembled in this fasion.slide out cable issuehave a primetime tracer with a rear lounge slide, about 10'. one of the top return cables,(total of 4 on unit, 2 top and 2 bottom) is totally slack and while the slide returns to the closed position, it is not working correctly. is this worth removing some slide covers to have a look or take it to the dealer. thanks for any assistance........ssRe: 2015 Ford V-6 Ecoboost vs V8I have the eb 3.5 and it pulls great. my camper wt. 5800 dry, lots of power and the tow haul trans. feature is very nice...............ss
