I have decided to change all six and am considering going to Goodyear Rv's or Falken RI 109's .Re: Michelin sidewall cracking . Need adviceThanks for all the response . I"m thinking that I will change all six over to Goodyear . I have found that the Michelin's seemed to give an overly hard ride on my coach . A friend , who also is in the tire business , just told me that the Michelin's on my coach have a low profile sidewall that may be contributing to ride problem . Please let me know if anyone else has had this problem also .Michelin sidewall cracking . Need adviceI just came back from inspecting my 2008 Fleetwood Bounder 38P . It has been in storage for the last 2 months since returning from Florida . The sidewalls on all the Michelin XRV 22.5 tires are showing some pretty substantial cracking . I had planned on replacing the two fronts before heading out again but am now worried that I should possibly be better to replace all six . Any advice would be greatly appreciated .Re: Have dwindled the search down to two RVs any advise? We just traded in an 08 Hurricane 34B on the Ford Chassis for an 08 Fleetwood Bounder 38P with a Workhorse . So far I'm very happy with the quality of the Bounder compared to the Hurricane . The Workhorse seems to handle much better in the wind and also when being passed by larger trucks . The slides also operate much smoother as compared to the jerky operation of the ones on the Hurricane . Good luck with your choice .Re: Winterizing problem with water pumpI did try to use the suction hose but the pump would not suck the AF from the container even though it was running . I'm thinking that possibly the pump is the problem .Winterizing problem with water pumpWe picked up our , new to us , 08 Fleetwood Bounder 39P 4 days ago . Today I went over to prepare it for the winter and after hours of trying , I can't seem to get any pressure out of the fresh water pump . When I turn it on it runs constantly but builds very little pressure and does not shut off . When I try to use the winterizing attachment connected to the pump and put the end of the line in the antifreeze container it will not suck any fluid . I'm thinking that the pump is at fault ,any suggestions ?Re: 38 ' gas chassisI'm picking up my new to me 38P Fleetwood Bounder on Tues. . It has the 24000 Lb workhorse chassis 8.1 . We test drove it and it seems to have more than enough power after owning a 34b Hurricane with the Ford V10 . We tow a 2dr. Jeep Wrangler so we are hoping it is at least comparable to our previous coach .Traded my'08 Hurricane 34B for '08 Fleetwood Bounder 38PWell I went ahead and traded my '08 Hurricane 34B with the Ford chassis for an '08 Fleetwood Bounder 38P with the 24000 workhorse chassis . Hope I made a good decision . The Hurricane was trouble free for the 2 years we owned it but we just were not happy with the quality and materials used in the coach plus we found that the bunks , for us , were a waste of space . I'm just hoping the fuel mileage is as good with the workhorse , while towing our Jeep Wrangler , as the Ford was .Re: Buying 08' Fleetwood Bounder 38B , Workhorse , any advice ?Thanks for the reply's . The 38b came with the 24000 lbs. chassis . I've checked and it appears this chassis was not included in the brake recall .Buying 08' Fleetwood Bounder 38B , Workhorse , any advice ?I'm close to buying a 2008 Fleetwood Bounder 38B on a workhorse gas chassis . We will be towing our '13 Jeep 2dr Wrangler . Any advice on this unit would be a big help . Will a gas coach of this size with the Workhorse have trouble towing my Jeep on steep grades . We are trading in a Hurricane 34B on a ford gas chassis . The Ford was quite capable of towing the Jeep but I can't get used to the high rpm's it requires to reach max. torque and H.P. .
