Switches work fine, they retract when they are supposed to and extend when they are supposed to. Yesterday, we left on a trip and as soon as we started the motor, with the door closed, the steps extended. When the motor turns off, the steps retract. This is completely opposite of what they are supposed to do. On the trips we have taken since the motor was fixed, this didn't happen. It just started yesterday. Anyone have an idea of what might be the problem?Re: Installing an Extend-A-Stay PropaneUpdate to my situation. I went to a commercial propane dealer where I lived who said they can install extend-a-stay adapters and they were baffled by my setup. Talked to the mechanic and he said there was no way he could install it for me. They even even said if I wanted a permanent external tank like many of my neighbors they couldn't do it. They won't even fill my onboard tank if they are already at the RV park filling someone else's external tank. They said it was something to do with the pressure on their 100 gallon tanks is different than my 20 gallon, which I think could be BS because I've been at many parks who have propane trucks come weekly to fill onboard tanks. I called a mobile tech and he is going to come take a look for me. Hopefully he can figure it out. I really don't feel like packing up every three weeks to fill up my propane.Re: Installing an Extend-A-Stay PropaneThanks for the advice everyone. I called a local propane dealer and if I go in and fill up my propane they will install the adapter for me for a small fee. I feel more comfortable doing that than risking installing in wrong and having a potential issue.Installing an Extend-A-Stay PropaneI have a 2008 Fleetwood Expedition and am looking at adding an external propane tank. My onboard propane tank is in the middle of the motorhome, and the only way to access it is by crawling under the RV. I ordered an extend-a-stay kit for adding an external tank, but my setup doesn't look anything like what I see on the youtube videos for hooking it up. Here is a picture of my setup. I know the shutoff is just a switch on the outside where I fill up the main tank unlike the handle as seen in most of the tutorial videos. Anyone have any thoughts or tips on how to set it up. The second link is the extend-a-stay connection I ordered. https://1drv.ms/i/s!AvcttLBiQv38xvpHLdbbF_F7VcvY4Q">My Propane setup Stanbroil Propane Gas Brass Tee Adapter with 4 Port for RV or MotorhomeOvernight Parking near Atlantic City or Jersey ShoreMy wife and I are Full-Timers in our 38' Fleetwood Expedition. We just spent last week touring Philly and New York. We are leaving the park we are currently in tomorrow and thinking of going out somewhere on the New Jersey Coast, maybe near Atlantic City to park for the next couple of days before we drive south to D.C. Does anyone have experience with Atlantic City Casinos and RV parking or any recommendations about State Parks or other areas along the coast that might allow overnight parking. Nearly every RV park in the area we have checked are full for the weekend and even if they weren't, we were hoping to go without paying for a park for a few days since next week we are spending the whole week at an RV Park. Thanks in advance for any recommendations. John.Re: Router setup as a Wireless bridgeI really appreciate everyones help. I am now connected, but not yet how I want. Still having a couple issues. Here is what I did. Maybe someone can direct me where I am messing up. I had an old Linksys WRT54GL, and I was able to change the firmware to DDWRT. After looking at their tutorial and countless videos, i set up a repeater bridge. I am connected, but the issue I am having is with the security. I have no issue connecting to the park wifi as a simple repeater. I have trouble when I add a virtual interface. I can set that up as a completely different SSID, but when the password is different than the password of the park wifi network, it doesn't work. Also, if I disable security, it works, but for obvious reasons, I don't want to do that. Even on the WW-DRT wiki for setting up a virtual interface is says the password has to be the same as the router you are connecting to. I also have not set up a VPN yet, but I am going to try to do that. I am not sure how that works with a repeater instead of a regular router. Everywhere I read says I need a WAN IP to set up a VPN, but when the router is set as a repeater or a repeater bridge, WAN is disabled. For now I am connected, but I am hoping someone has some tips to help me set it up how I was hoping. Thanks again everyone for your help.Router setup as a Wireless bridgeIn the title I use the term wireless bridge, but that may not actually be what I need. I am a full time RV'r with my wife. I have been stumbling trying to get the internet setup I want. Here is my goal. Everyone knows that park wifi can be hit and miss, more so if you are a distance from the access point of the park wifi. Currently I have an extender connected to a directional antenna. That is working much better to access their wifi. I would like to be able to have a personal wifi network in my RV with it's own security setup. All my devices would connect to that network. Is there a way to use a router with my directional antenna to connect to the park wifi and use that same router to turn the park signal into a secondary network that I am able to use exclusively in my RV? And a second question, when I am on the road, could that same setup be used to connect to open wifi at places like Walmart and keep the secure network in my RV? I am just starting to learn how to work with routers and firmware like DDwrt, so I apologize if any terminology is wrong. Thanks for the help.Power gear Leveler Low VoltageI own a 38' Fleetwood Expedition Diesel Pusher. Just parked it at the house yesterday. I went to Level it out. I have the Power gear leveling system. It showed me a low voltage indicator and it stayed on even though my batteries show a full charge. I checked the control panel under the coach and my voltage meter shows no power is getting to the leveling system. I can't figure out what is causing it. If it helps, here is a picture of the model of Power gear that I have Re: Norcold 1210IM Refrigerator freezing foodThanks everyone for the help. I'll try some of the steps to see it the thermistor is the problem. If it is, it looks very easy to order a new one.Norcold 1210IM Refrigerator freezing foodWe have a 38' Fleetwood Expedition Diesel Pusher and the fridge has really been getting annoying. We originally had the temperature set to 5 of 9, right in the middle. We started noticing our food inside the fridge was freezing. It is no fun getting ready to spread some cream cheese on your bagel to find the cream cheese frozen solid. We adjusted the temperature setting all the way down to 2, but we are having the same issue. When we first had the problem, the items towards the back of the fridge were the only ones freezing, but now, items towards the front are also freezing. Has anyone else had issues like this? Any idea of how to fix it? The fridge is a Norcold model 1210IM. We have the power setting usually set to AUTO so it switches from AC to LP gas when necessary. When we are connected to power at a park or at home we have it on AC. Thanks.
