Using drive-over blocks, is it necessary to support both rear wheels on a side? Is running up on only one tire of a pair an issue? 2014 Class C.Re: Reduced water flow from pumpIt does have a filter, like itinerant1 showed above, and it was clear. Here’s what I suspect. I cut a 1.5 inch hole in the top of the water tank last year b4 storage. Why? The ribbed water fill line (not city water) had a big valley between sidewall and tank, preventing any water passage not pressurized like from a hose. I could get tubing on a hose-end past the dip and force water in if available, but there would have been no way to reasonably fill the tank on the rare occasions of just pouring it in, like prolonged dry camping maybe. And the inlet to the tank was down on the side of the tank with limited space, so pouring would have been a challenge. So, the hole on top. The tank’s under a fold-up bed, so easy access to its top. I put a food grade stopper tightly in the hole. Anyhow, I suspect some plastic shavings fell down and made their way into the water line enough to restrict the flow. The round piece from the drilling I got out. So I may be looking at purging things somehow. Hope that all makes sense.Reduced water flow from pump2014 Sunseeker 2500TS 29' Class C. Just de-winterized from anti-freeze. Fresh water in tank. When I close a tap, the pump soon shuts off normally. When I turn a faucet on, the pressure output is good, but only for about 30 seconds, then slows to a trickle, not enough to shower. I'm suspecting some blockage in the line from tank to pump. This wasn't a problem at the end of last season. Looking for ideas, and how best to clean out a water line from tank to pump, if that's the issue.Slide-outs Manual Op plan needed...I need to have a plan for when/if the slides fail. First, I'm trying to track down the make/model/serial# for my slides, and the Forest River people don't answer calls, so maybe someone can point out where to find this, and a resource for self-training this manual contingency plan. Original spec sheet shows Leppert/ALKO/Norco for the slide mechanism. Maybe that's all I can find out. Just trying to nail it down a bit before I dig in. Thanks! 2014 Sunseeker 2500TSRe: The C we want has no attached roof ladder...Good, concise responses as usual on this forum. MrWizard, I'm healthy for 62, but have lost balance compared to times of yore. I think one of the lighter telescoping jobs will do. Especially if I have a "spotter" or two. Rarely need to get up there, but sometimes for general inspection, or a bulb, or to get stuff off the slide, etc. Or for solitude. The C we want has no attached roof ladder...Found a Sunseeker that has all we need, but no attached ladder, due to a rear slide. Gotta figure out real soon, b4 it's sold, if there are any suitable alternatives to getting on to the 10' roof, like a collapsible that's sturdy enough for a 62-year-old. Thanks for any ideas/experiences!!Dinghy-towing setup add length??Shopping for a Class C and intend to tow a dinghy. I know little about the whole towing affair at this point, and I need the motorhome to fit into an indoor storage I rent. Question: does the setup add ANY length to the motorhome? Does it "depend" on the type of product? If it does add, is the apparatus removable for storage? I've got to be careful, as this unit is 30'10" wall-to-wall. Thanks!Re: Class C ExteriorsThanks to all of you repliers. Lots of good info and food for thought. I hadn't considered the solar heating angle, makes sense. We are considering getting cans of spray paint and just doing it ourselves. (ha)Class C ExteriorsShopping for a new/lightly used Class C. The wife has a problem with most of the exteriors out there, with all the swirly graphics and the like. Can anyone save me an afternoon of mouse-clicking, and mention some brands that have a less "dazzling" exterior, even a darker or one-tone look? Thanks
