New Trip Planner
We tried this new program on a recent trip from Maryland to Maine. It took us down narrow , twisty roads on the first half, gave us roads where RV's were not allowed on, took us through NYC via the GW bridge at a toll of $42 for our RV. Folks, thank you for your input. No late payments, we have auto-pay, we have excellent credit, so not punitive. Hmmm....they haven't given me any cash back either. So, the end result is, as usual, caveat emptor. Just as I thought. There are a few things I like about the club. But, stay away from the ESP, RV Ins. and the credit card. Every thing else is ok. Dear Marcus, We have been notified by the comedy bank that any future purchases with their card will be at 24.99%. We were shocked, to say the least. We were under the impression that the Club did things to benefit the RV community. Guess we were wrong. Needless to say, we have suspended use of this card and as soon as it's paid in full, we will cancel our account. If you can't do better than this with Visa, or the extended service policy, there may be no point in continuing our membership. We'll see. Another good/bad one. Just received my new bill. They charged me a transfer fee based on my balance after Barclay Bank deducted my previous payment from my account. Less than a month, Sept 17 to Oct 9. and charged me $158. Sorry Robyn, In dec. I will pay this account off and CLOSE it. Same thing happened to me. Sent a payment to Barclay. It disappeared. Got charged a late fee and a double payment by Comedy Bank (my new name for them). A nightmare. Took 1 phone call to Barclay, 3 to Comedy before it got fixed. The 3 phone calls happened because the first two agents didn't fix the problem right.
