Eze Gutter, how to re-adhere? Double stick foam adhesive?
I've got the Eze gutter "stick on" drip edges around my windows. For the most part, they work well, however, on a couple of the windows, the edges that are curved to a vertical position (down the side of the window), it's starting to come off. Replacing it is very expensive (about $2 a foot). I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a really good double stick tape (with a little cushion, like foam, to made a good fit) that I could use to replace it. There is a decent amount of pressure when the drip edge curves 90 degrees around the window, so it would have to be of high quality. I need to get the sliding window out to re attach the pull and lock bar. I can't get the window out unless I remove the top and bottom "stuff" that it seals it and it slides on. I would also like to replace this item. I don't know what it's called and have no idea where to look for it. Is it fairly generic stuff? I have a 97 Rexhall Airbus and it has that fiberglass cap roof. After cleaning it, I found that some of the top paint/sealer is peeling away. Years ago (another 97 Rexhall I owned)I had a bunch of small holes because I stupidly powerwashed it with a stream, rather than a fan of spray and took the top coat off, exposing tiny pin holes. I don't have that problem now, but I'm not sure if the solution isn't the same. Is there a general (marine??) white sealant/paint that most use on this? Would you think any good marine paint would work? It doesn't look like a really need to "fill", just coat and seal. I have a 97 Rexhall Airbus and it has the Dometic Elite RM7732 Fridge. Doors are constantly opening when I have anything loaded in the door and take a right turn. My wife noticed that there is a cutout in the top part of the frame and we are thinking there was a latch. I searched online, and found differing items labeled for this. Hobson RV has a latch, but I can't see how it would work with the cutout. I don't want to spend $130 plus shipping to find it isn't right. Does anyone have this fridge in their RV that can send me a pic of the latch installed? There was nothing in the owners manual as far as a picture of the area. Camping World doesn't seem to have much, but I'm looking to monitor my battery situation (4 6v us2200's) with minimal work. I'm pretty sure I could purchase a meter and wire it inline and put the monitor in the coach somewhere, but.....couldn't I just plug something into the cigarette lighter (coming from the battery pack) and have it register? I've seen some things like this, but they are set up to install from scratch. Is there something I can purchase and just "stick" it into the cigarette" lighter (for the tv connection) and have it tell me the level? Or, are these just crappy? Or, is there something that limits the accuracy in that situation?
