All fuses are fine. and I have not had to shut down the hydralics because it usually does come on for some reason....Is there an adjustment on the emergency brake switch, because I know where that is....The system is a joy stick early system...Just trying to avoid the headache of messing around with it....hwh systemWhen I put on my park brake and put the motorhome in PARK, I sometimes can't get the hwh system to come on....no red light, no indicator of off-level side or corner. Then, I'm dead in the water, because my slide won't work either when the system is energized. I have tride disconnected the wire to the system on the brake lever and sometimes that seems to work. Other timws, I have tried to activate the system by spraying electric cantact cleaner on the switches...Sometimes that works, sometimes that doesn't. What am I missing.....?Shifting from Park in a Class A, Chevy chassisI have had a problem at times (especially when it is hot outside) shifting from Park to Drive. I have had a shifter relay replaced and it worked fine for about six months, then in hot weather, it started again. I have had the advice to spray the shifting mechanisms that are visable on the steering column and that also seems to help. Any input on solving this would be helpful.Re: '96 Chevy Shifter ReleaseBrian, Thanks.....Can you describe the unit with the two wires going into it? Thanks again.....'96 Chevy Shifter ReleaseI have a Rexhall Rolls Air on a '96 Chevy P30 Chassis...... and I have had trouble with a shift release relay that has been replaced once because of trouble shifting from Park to other gears. It has started to become hard to shift again and I would like to know where the shift release override is located. I don't seem to see that information in my owner's manual. Any help on locating it would be appreciated.Re: route from Gilroy to Grass Valley, caDirect and Scenic.....Don't want lots of steep grades and/or lots of traffic in the late morning, early afternoon...route from Gilroy to Grass Valley, caI'm trying to find a good motorhome route between Gilroy and Grass Valley Ca.....I have a gas powered class A with a toad.....Re: Relay locationYou misunderstood my post....I'm looking for the shift relay switch part that plugs in....not the autopark braking system.... Different Items.....Relay locationI have started having problems shifting my 1996 Rehall on a Chevy P30 chassis from Park to Drive. I have to keep tapping the brake pedal to allow this to happen. I've researched and found that there is a five pin relay that allows the shifting to take place after the brake pedal is depressed. I have actually held the relay and it is about 2" BY 1" and has five pins inside it. My problem is, I don't know where to find the relay and my good NAPA parts people don't even know where it is located. My guess is that it is plugged into the fuse box under the dash, but I don't see it there.....Any help would be appreciated.......Re: Wife fearful in Class AWe've joked lots about my wife being in the "Catbird" seat and that she is my N A G A V A T O R, but the problem is very real.....It is scarey at times sitting in the right hand seat, especially on narrow roads. We have a Chevy chassis which is on a narrow wheelbase (compared to Ford) and the passenger is almost outside the actually wheelbase. I try to drive slower and stay closer to the center line. Of course, the comment I make is that the drivers coming toward us have larger than normal eyes as we approach them!!! Just stay between the ditches....and you'll be fine.
