I guess when you get used to good service from one company, you expect it from all. Life is just not that way. Good luck to all who place an online order.Don't order from camping World OnlineI ordered a rocking chair fro CW 5 days ago and it still hasen't shipped. They say they don not work on weekends and it take 5 -7 business days to ship. FLASH - FLASH - FLASH - FLASH -. The word "camping" should indicate that some people don't stay in one place long enough to get their packages. Go to Amazon. 2 day delivery.Re: Service at it's best??????Update. I received a reply from Rashad Hunter from the corporate office. He took care of everything. There is still a bit of a problem with the venders they us at different locations. It's hard to control the situation when the people don't work for you. I waited 4 hours for a wrecker after they said they were on their way. Mr. Hunter called a different wrecker company and they were there in 20 minutes. My 5th wheel was towed to a campground and my truck.was towed to to local Dodge Dealer. Service is in progress and I should be on the road by tomorrow. Thank you, Mr. Hunter and the rest of your staff. I hope the rest of my trip goes better. The only other issue was there was no tow service on Sunday so we had to pay for a hotel room. Even though the Good Sam Roadside Reps say you are in a safe place they haven't got a clue where you are. We were fortunate that no damage or break in happened at the truck stop over night.Service at it's best??????Mr. Lemonis, I have my 2nd, unfortunate and unpleasant occasion to use Good Sams Roadside Assistance in the 7 years I have been a member. First of all. On both occasions it like was getting a root canal to get the (in This case all 4) representatives to listen and add data into the computer. All 4 Reps asked for exactly the same information i.e.; name, address, member #’7, etc. I was on the phone at least 2 hours retelling everything that is in my profile to people that did not even add that data to the system. I asked the last 3 reps about my information that should already be in the system and the had no answer. The best question of all “ARE YOU TRAVELING?” WHAT!!!. I am in a RV in Wyoming. My profile tells you I live in Florida. Of course I’m traveling. Next. I told them all I was stalled in the middle of a truck stop in between several big rigs that could not get out because I was in their way, I was told they couldn’t get anyone until tomorrow (Monday 7/10/2017). Wrong answer. I need someone now. I found a nice truck driver that had some straps and he pulled me out of the middle of the lot and into a parking spot. A nice trucker, not a Good Sams roadside assistance member that I pay for. Now that I made it to a parking place before getting shot by a not so nice trucker your rep said I would have to wait again until Monday To be towed to the dealer. So here I sit in a motel that cost me $119.00 for the night on top of paying for road side service that is virtually non-existent. My 5th wheel and truck are in a truck stop for now. I’m not sure if it or any part of it will be there in the morning. They also told me they would only tow the truck, not the 5th wheel because “the 5th wheel is in a safe place”. My question was “how do you know that, do you live here and can verify it’s a safe place?” I thought you might like to know how your service has gone down the toilet. BUT WAIT!!!!!!!! It’s not over. I was just getting ready to send this email when I received a phone from Roadside Assistance. It was a recording that my service call was competed and if there were any questions call back.. Made my day. No service schedules until tomorrow but it has already been completed. After calling back I was informed That it was the truck that was supposed to tow me from the middle of the parking lot to a parking space that was cancelled. Unhappy Customer,Re: denialHey Bird Freak my account numbers always have a bunch of ***'s in them. I thought everyone did. More on my saga. I have spoken with a few different people at customer service and ESP. I decided to drop the claim at Camping World and order parts myself and either find someone to install them or do it myself. ESP sent forms for me to send back with receipts for parts and labor and they will pay it. After reading up on the topic, landing gear replacement is not rocket science. Most people say it will only take about 2 hours to do the job. I called CW to cancel the claim they had. An hour later a got a call from the CPU lady stating I had to pay a diagnostic fee and service fee of about $150.00. I told her that they did nothing for me and I shouldn't be charged. Now I have to wait for her Manager to make a decision. She won't be in until next Wednesday. Sounds about right to me. No Manager on site.Re: When to Purchase the GS ESP?I agree on never. Read about the disasters other people have had with GS ESP. You will have to fight for hotels, rental cars and meals after you pay for them.denialLast week I had a problem with my landing gear on my fifth wheel. I called Good Sams road side assistance. To see if they could do anything for me. They sent a repair guy with no knowledge of landing gears. I have an extended service plan with Good Sams also and called them for help. This is where it gets better. I found out that none of these Good Sams services are really Good Sams and they do not communicate with each other. This is a real issue when people are traveling and trying to get the help they are paying for. I located a Camping World in Syracuse, NY and stopped by there to have them look at the problem They diagnosed the problem as a broken landing gear and needed to notify my extended service plan provider ( I think it is Affinity even though my card says Good Sams). I received a call form Camping World today to inform me I have to bring the 5th Wheel back so an inspector can look at it. My wife and I are living in our RV for the summer and can’t just travel to and from the repair facility several times for some one to look at our problem. I am a Good Sams member #********, a Platinum Roadside assistance member #8********, and an Extended Service contract #GARTT***********. I am experiencing problems at every intersection along the maze of Good Sams. By the time I am done with trips back and forth and maybe several hotel rooms the cost of having all these Good Sams accounts will be unaffordable. Back in my day we used to get what we paid for but I guess that isn’t the case now. If I saved the money I have spent in service and roadside coverage over the last few year I would have the money to fix my 5th wheel at any shop without the hassle of dealing with many people that do not work for Good Sams even though my card says they are Good Sams. Is there anyone in the Good Sams organization that can handle or expedite a not so complicated repair order so we can get on our way.
