The cameras on each side often don't work...one side and then the other. The right one will work for a while (perhaps and entire trip) while the other one won't Kinda weird that they function intermittently. Any thoughts? Experience with this problem? Thanks. TimEeven Brake eats car batteriesGood morning all. Towing Jeep Grand Cherokee from NH to FL and id way through the trip the brake monitor told me battery low. So I went into the Jeep and sure enough the car battery was dead. After getting the Jeep jumped, we rand it for an hour or so and hooked to up the next morning and 3-hours into the trip, guess what. Battery was drained dead. I called Roadmaster and they told me the Even-Brake system draws 15 amps every time the compressor is on,. Plus we have to have the auxiliary position on to run the brake system. Any work arounds for this? I guess I am not the only one to have this problem.Gulf Stream RVSort of new to this (1 year) and currently own a 2008 HR Neptune XL 38' class A with four slides. Just saw a consignment sale for a 43 foot, 2008 Gulf Stream RV for $169K with only 19K miles. Not heard much about the brand. Any comments? Seems as if they have been around for a long time (30 years, according to their website). Advice? Thoughts, comments. Thanks.sliding doors in back of motor coachwe have a 2008 HR Neptune (38') and we have two sliders in the back of the coach (in the bedroom. Unfortunately they are mirrored glass sliders and aside from having to look at myself when I go to bed, my wife and I would like to find an alternative to these sliders. They are heavy (because they are glass) an they are a pain because they don't stay latched. Has anyone come up with a retrofit to change out the sliders. Would love to hear about creative alternatives. Thanks.Re: finding the perfect RV resortGlad that you have been sending me stuff...(as I asked). The problem is I am still working. Can you all do anything about that? Thanks.Re: finding the perfect RV resortOops....my apologies...just doing research.....have enjoyed 13 weekends n a row, grew up in Maine and am comfortable with my roots.finding the perfect RV resortGood morning. Peggy and I are in NH and are planning to store our motor coach in The Great Outdoor Resort in Titusville, FL for the winter. I discovered it at the rally in Syracuse. It looks great (large for sure) but we are looking for similar resorts in the country, do any of you have recommendations about 4-5 star resorts in other parts of the country? We go to Palm Desert every winter (not yet by RV) but plan to when I retire. I am currently in a campground for the weekend in NH and it is large, mostly tents and trailers (we could be the only Class-A) and while sounding like a snob, I feel compelled to ask, where are the folks like us? Thanks, in advance for your suggestions.Norcold Refrigerators...keeping doors closedHello all... I have a 2008 HR Neptune and the Norcold refrigerator doors keeping beeping at me (to remind me that the door is opened). Suffice to say this is important. I called Norcold and the appropriately referred me to a Norcold dealership...but given that the doors will always be susceptible to the bending of the rig have any of you had this problem. I should also add that they don't close tightly when sitting at a campsite. I guess I can purchase new hardware for the doors. The little lock lever does not secure the door closed. Thanks...curious about your experiences.Tailgater to HR hookupI own a 2008 HR Neptune. In the rig it is a box that differentiates the signal from the front TV and the rear TV and it also accommodates, air, cable and satellite. I have a coax satellite input near the electrical line that would (presumably) run fro the dish to the box. No problem, then I can select the satellite button. I think I have that right. BUT and here is the question: I would love to personally talk with someone who has added satellite dish (I am using DISH with a Tailgater) because Peggy (my wife and maybe me too) will go nuts if I cannot get this thing to work. Happy To get advice Thanks.Re: Tireshow old were your tires?
