All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: NO Water at kitchen sinkThanks folks It was indeed the aerator screen. Took it off and the water started flowing. Duh.....should have caught that one myself. Oh well,,,,live and learn. Thanks again GilNO Water at kitchen sinkRecently I readied my Class C for summer. In doing so I ran water through the system to check all the the sinks and toilet and shower taps. I have water everywhere EXCEPT at the kitchen sink. The sprayer works when the sink handle is up but no water when I release the sprayser's handle at the sink. Anybody got any ideas on what this could be or how to solve this problem.I'm not familiar with the mechanics between the sprayer and the sink mechanisms. Myself I'm thinking a blockage somewhere or a diverter valve fault if there is one. Many thanks in advance.Re: No 120 volts to the rv.Did some research on rv transfer switches so now I see where this problem could be. I would assume the transfer switch is under the bed somwhere hidden in an enclosure, not far from the convertor.Re: No 120 volts to the rv.yes Jetcare. Exactly. Sorry for the confusion.Re: No 120 volts to the rv.Ok I have corrected my post. Seems Ive caused a bit of confusion as well as humour. First of all yes I did bypass the surge protector but still no changes. No power. So I'm thinking the problem is at the fuse box in the converter or perhaps broken wires in the power cable leading into the RV. I am not a technician nor am I a handy man, and I am dealing with electricity. Perhaps I should stand down on this fix for now. Thanks for the kind help everyone. GilNo 120 volts to the rv.While in a campground near Dayton Ohio I lost my 120 volts to the rv. This is the second time this has happened. I arrived, hooked up to the shore power with a "Surge Guard" surge protector between the 120 volts and the rig, which allows the power to come on after 180 seconds. This worked fine for about 2 hours then all of a sudden the 120 volts quit and never came back. I had 12 volts via the battery and 120 volts via the generator. Now I am booked in to have this problem looked at at the local RV dealer but not till the end of July. If anyone has any ideas or what I can test for it would be appreciated. I did check all the 120 volt breakers and nothing seemed to help. I'm wondering if there is a problem with the convertor box where the 120 volts attaches, or now after doing some study perhaps its the transfer switch as you fellows mentioned. Hopefully I have given out enough information. Thanks in advance. Gil Smithville, OntarioRe: Surgeguard Surge Protectors (schematics)Well it looks like Progressive Industries wins. Thanks to KJINTF for the picture though. Thanks to all for the advice.Surgeguard Surge Protectors (schematics)Hello, Has anyone out there ever seen schematics for the Surgeguard surge protectors. I have the old style 30amp version which may be toast after it took some kind of hit or surge or whatever. A new one is in the realm of $400 Canadian and I'd like to see if my old one is fixable. Anyways many thanks in advance. Just asking. Gil Smithville, ONLoss of 120 volt power in the rv.Hello Everyone, I just returned from the Smoky Mts. and had a wonderful time. The RV unfortunately did not. One of the problems is the loss of 120 volts from the outside source to the rv. The loss problem is not at the source but inside the RV. No power at all to anything 120 volt related. I tried the breaker at the breaker box but no luck. The manual said that the power coming into the the RV is also controlled by a GFCI plug. Now the only one of those I could see was in the kitchen area. Pushing the reset button on that did not help. I don't believe there are any others. I did look and found none. I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas what may be causing this problem, or has had this type of problem. In the meantime I will keep trying to solve it.May end up having to send it in for repair, but that's so expensive. Thanks GilRe: Class C Water LeakHmmm you folks have given me some good ideas and certainly "food for thought" in regards to the leak problem. I will wait and see what happens on the way to Myrtle Beach, but a leak is still a leak and I will have to do something when I get back. Thanks again to all for the suggestions. Also there are no windows in my overhead area but there are lights and caulking etc. I will see what happens in the future Gil
