I replaced the old tv in bedroom and when I pulled the tv out, there was another coaxial cable that was back there. It was not connected to anything.Any ideas what it would be for?Thank You

I can watch cable TV in bedroom (when connected)just fine. But when trying to watch satellite or antenna TV, I can not get it to watch. I have the box up front that I choose from on what is connected to. do Any idea's?????Thank you
