Rapid City Area RV Parks
Hi All, Anyone have a recommendation for an RV park in the Rapid City, SD area? We would like to hit Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Sturgis and the Badlands so really anything in those areas would be great. We will be towing our Traverse and day tripping from the moho so I figure everything is within a couple hours of Rapid City...but always open to suggestions for other areas, as well. Hi All! We are heading up to Yellowstone staying in Island Park, Idaho to visit Yellowstone and that side of Montana for a week. The next week we are thinking about jumping over to go to Mt. Rushmore, Black Hills and so on. We will be in our Moho (gas) towing our SUV with our kiddos and dogs. Leaving SoCal We are heading up the 15 to Idaho. Leaving Idaho thinking about 191 to 90 and over. Heading home I was thinking 385 down to 25 through Colorado and down to Albuquerque. Obviously we can't avoid all hills but are there any crazy descents along the way that I need to be aware of? Is that a suitable route? Any advice is completely welcomed! Thanks in advance! Hi, We are planning a trip back to see family in Kankakee, Illinois, leaving from Southern California in the beginning of June. 2 routes (north through Colorado/Nebraska) and south (through New Mexico/Oklahoma). We are planning to make the loop one way or another...my question is if one way is better coming or going? Which way to go and which way to come back? I know that I will hit some significant grades in the Rockies either way but I wasn't sure if it easier to hit them east to west, west to east, etc.? Hi All, My buddy has an issue with his generator where it idles rough with no load but works fine under load with the AC running. He recently had the carb replaced due to it being gummed up and not used enough previously and now he has this issue...any thoughts or observations?
