Was curious as to other's experience with different manufactures. My rig is a 31 foot Fiesta, no slides, so is on the lighter side all things considered.Re: RV Tires - affect on rideTo all responders: I'm going to have my axles weighed. I've already downloaded the TOYO inflation charts and am doing my due diligence on different tire options. As always .. THANKS.. the members here looking out for each other is what makes the RV community stand out..RV Tires - affect on rideOwn a 2002 Fleetwood Fiesta 31'. Ford F53 chassis. Prior owner had just replaced the tires. The tires are: TOYO M143 225/70R19.5. The tag on the driver side door says inflate to 80 PSI. The sidewall on the tire says 110 PSI. I'm driving them at 90 PSI. Wondering if the tires are part of the rough ride I'm experiencing and whether the PSI is making it worse and how low on the PSI can I go and be safe and how much softer would the ride be.. or are their better softer, smoother tires available. Since I acquired it, I've added Bilstein Shocks, a Davis tru-trac Stabilizer, stronger control arms, and a Safe T Plus Steering Stabilizer. I'm happy with the stability and tracking but the ride is rough. (especially on these ill maintained CA. highways) As always thanks in advance for your continued advise.Re: Hurricane 34B Ride QualityLadyRVer What is puzzling is mine is also built on the Ford F53 chassis. The previous owner replaced the tires in 2014. On the sidewall of the tires it says minimum air pressure is 100 lbs. On the placard on the drivers side wall it says 80 lbs. I think I'm going to post the type of tires and ask for feedback. It may very well be I've got cheap hard - overinflated tires causing the rough ride.Hurricane 34B Ride QualityConsidering upgrading from my 2002 31' Fleetwood Fiesta to a 2007 Hurricane (Thor/Four Winds) 34B. Hoping for a smoother more stable ride. I've owned the Fleetwood for 2 years have added stronger control arms, Davis stabilizers, Safety Plus steering stabilizer, new Bilstein shocks, new tires, etc.. The ride is heads and tails better than it was but. The coach is stable but the ride remains stiff/rough on the poor CA highways. Looking for a softer smoother ride without sacrificing any stability.Re: Gear Indicator in CoachOver the last year the paneling on the interior roof above the storage cabinets has dropped down. It will not stay up if simply pushed back up in position. Has anyone encountered this and if so how was it addressed ? If an adhesive is warranted what kind was used ?Re: Gear Indicator in Coachadjustment to last post - Reverse is Nuetral...Gear Indicator in CoachHave a 2002 Fleetwood Fiesta on a Ford frame. When I put it in gear coming home on my last trip the gear indicator shifted one position. Park is now Reverse, Neutral is Neutral etc... seems I lost low gear as well on the indicator. Anyone ever seen this. The coach has 38,0000 miles on it.mud flaps vs. bumper apron or none at allJust acquired a Toad for 4 flat towing. I drive a 31 Class A V10 Fleetwood. Given the distance from the rear tires to the rear bumper I'm wondering what if anything would be best to protect the Toad from rocks. Individual rear tire mud flaps ? The 96 inch across the bumper aprons ? or nothing at all. Any input would be appreciated.Head Light Upgrades ?Have a 2002 31' Fleetwood - Bought used. I noticed the headlamp covers were faded. Restored with a kit - look good as new - however the headlights are not very bright. I find myself running my high beams all the time at night and have never been flashed by an oncoming driver. Has anyone replaced the factory headlights or added after market lights and if so at what cost and result?
