Even with an aluminum tank do these ever corrode enough to leak...after 20 years? Another weird observation.....I noticed what looked like engine coolant hoses (like what takes the engine coolant to the dash heater) and found in the original installation paper work that there is in fact 2 hoses that are routed to the motor of the coach. Not much in regards to explanation in the manual other than "hook up the coolant lines". Is referenced to as "heat exchange".water heater replacementIn my 1999 endeavor, the hot water heater has begun to leak. Would assume that it is rusting out and needs replaced. It is an Atwood 6 gallon model mpd 93756. Has anyone had experience with replacing? Cannot find this exact model, what is the new replacement model? Is the new model pretty much interchangeable ?What is the object (air valve?) mounted above hot water tankIn my 1999 Endeavor, I have a minor water leak. During the process of tracking down the leak I found a valve looking object that is in line to the hot water line and mounted underneath my bath room sink above the hot water tank. It is mounted higher than the tank so I think it is an air valve that allows the line to drain properly. Am I correct??Re: 2002 HR Endeavorwe have a 1999 endeavor, I have never extended the 50 amp cord to measure, but I would guess it at around 20 ft. If you should come up short there is also the option of getting a 50 amp extension cord. Although not cheap, appr $100 but at least it is an option.Re: 1999 Holiday Rambler ride improvement with tires??update on my tire question..... replaced my front tires only with the hankook brand, subtle improvement but not to the point that I will replace my back tires at this time. Now will be pursuing suspension upgrade. Looking at some new shocks as a possibility. Thank you all for the feedback.1999 Holiday Rambler ride improvement with tires??Purchased our 1999 Holiday Rambler 34 foot class A 3 years ago. At the time of purchase decided on new tires. Went with dunlops over michilens to save some bucks but am wondering if I made a mistake and should suck up a new set of michilens. My question to the group is if the michilens would improve the ride enough to warrant the expense of the change over. That would be the primary reason for upgrading as the current ride is very solid over the road bumps.Pedestal supply for 1999 Holiday Rambler EndeavorAm in the process of installing a 50 amp hook up at my home for prepping of my 1999 Holiday Rambler Endeavor. Should this be wired in as a 50 AMP 120/240 volt ac single phase. Is this how the camp ground pedestals are wired up?? Do not have my owners manual and could not find the quick answer thru the web without paying for a manual. Thanx all.....you always come thru with useful infoRe: Fridge on AC has "Lo AC" IndicatorAfter unplugging from source power and operating on generator, it appears that the 116v is low enough to cause the fridge to glitch to "Lo AC". With the gen running I am getting the full 120v at the outlet and the fridge seems to run nominally. Riddle solved....normal ops will need to be with fridge on LP as long as it is hot enough to require air. Thanx again allRe: Fridge on AC has "Lo AC" IndicatorThanx for the help on this everyone. Checked the voltage at an outlet, expected 120 and measured 116. Now I would like to understand what would be considered low enough to cause the problem.Fridge on AC has "Lo AC" IndicatorMy fridge seems to be running OK until I put some extra load onto the motorhome electrical system.....such as electric heater or air conditioner. Once the extra load is applied the fridge starts blinking a "Lo AC" code and starts to heat up. Have had to put the fridge on propane (off the AC) if extra heat or cooling of the motorhome are required. Presently setting in an RV park in Phoenix, have not had this problem at previous locations. Is it possible that the voltage supplied at our present location is not adequate to run all of the motorhome systems at one time?? Just trying to figure out if I have an actual problem or if it is a matter of the current facility not supplying the proper power. Thank you all for the help
