All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutions15 digit vinI had a camper given to me. It is small, and the registration says TEC as the make. It is a 1977. 2800lb GVW. this is all i know about it. I have a 15 digit vin#. id there any where online that could tell me more about this using the VIN? ThanksRe: Help with my inverter!Ok I think I have found my answer. After carefully looking over the owners manual, and I mean carefully, I actually saw a small diagram with 2 Lugs on the unit. Take a guess what those are for...you got it, one is pos batt and the other is neg batt. Now to address the rude comments, not everyone is RV savvy, hence the reason they have forums like this. It take a real piece of samsonite to address a noob in the manner that has been displayed. Next time you might want to think about being a little more understanding, and remember the time you were a noob as well. As for the others, thank you for you help. There are people left on this earth with a functioning brain!!Re: Help with my inverter!Yeah that would have helped. DUH! Sorry, its a 1983 GMC 30, with a the camper made by Mallard. I think I may have figured this out. It looks like I found a schematic online finally and the wires coming from the "Battery" are pretty small. Compared to regular battery cables. I was looking for something like those. Might only be like 8 gauge wire.Help with my inverter!Ok so I have this class C and it is supposed to have a coach battery. There is even a tester for it, however, it seems to be missing. Along with the battery cables. The inverter/charger is a B-W Model 3230ul series 3200. It says everywhere online AND on the unit itself, that it works as inverter, and charger for coach battery. I cannot even find "cut-off" wiring as if someone took out the battery altogether. I have looked in every cupboard inside, and under the steps outside and all under the rig for the battery. Now to my question. If anyone has one of these 3230's could you tell me first, where are YOUR batteries/battery, and second, where are YOUR cables coming from on the unit itself. I can hook up a battery cable, I have electrical and automotive exp., but I want to do this right as to avoid and mishaps in the future, like electrical FIRES! Thank you
