I think you get better info here and it can be truly trusted. I'm sure we will be staying at one of the recomendations. Happy Traveling to you all.Ashville RV Parks and CG.We are going to Ashville N.C. in September for a vacation. Does anyone have any experience with the parks or campgrounds in or near Ashville? I know there must be sereral but we would feel better to hear a few reviews from experienced campers. Thanks for your help.Atwood water heaterI recently purchased a two year old Jayco TT. It has a Atwood GC6AA-10 combo gas-elec. water heater. To my knowledge it has only been used with electric. I fill the tank with water and lite the propane with the igniter, it lite fine. BUT-the flame is very quite and yellow.(not blue like suppose to be). Also the black smoke rolls out of the flue box. I blowed out the burn chamber, no help. I adjusted the air-gas every way, no help. I installed a new solenoid valve, no help. If anyone has ever had this problem or have any idea on what is causing my problem, please help me. I have always got good info on this forum and I'm sure I will again and I am very thankful for it. Thanks to all that read my post.Re: Norris lakeWe had a friend that had a houseboat that was moored on the lake and we visited him there several times a few years back. The lake is big and beautiful with lots of wildlife around the shoreline. Don't know much about places to stay since we stayed in the houseboat.Re: Branson MO and Eureka SpringsWe were in Branson a month ago and saw a lot of great shows including the story of Jonah at the Sight and Sound Theater. The World's Largest Toy Museum is also a must to visit and be sure to ride the Duck. Branson Ozark Country Campground is the place to stay. Did not visit any of the State Parks. Hope you enjoy your trip.Re: Hydraulic operated slideoutMany thanks to all that responded. Your info is so valuable to me.Hydraulic operated slideoutI'm interested in a RV that has (3) hydraulic slideouts. The owner says all three operate on one switch with no pre-determined sequence. Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with this type system and what your thoughts are compared to electric slides. Your response is greatly appreciated.Re: rubber roof repairThis might be the beginning of something you don't want hear about. Sorry!!Re: New 5er owner! You gotta use it to enjoy it. If anyone knows what causes this and also how it can be fixed, please let me know. The unit is a 1999 Montana. Thanks for your help.
