My question is..how much air pressure should I put in the tank? A friend told me that I should pressurize the tank equal to the cut off pressure of the pump but that sounds a bit high. All comments will be appreciated.Winegard RM-DM46 antenna/Dish VIP211 receiverFriends....your help requested... The previous owner of my Cass C installed a Winegard Model RM-DM46 manual satellite antenna. Up to now I have not attempted to use it because over-the-air TV has been adequate for our needs. Early next year we will travel further west into areas where TV reception is weak or nonexistent. I am considering installing a Dish VIP211z receiver and purchasing Dish service. My question is will the Dish 211z receiver work with the installed RM-DM46 antenna? I understand that I will only be able to receive standard definition channels but that is not an issue. If it will work how difficult will it be to set it up? I will appreciate any and all comments and suggestions.Suzuki Grand VitaraThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 28147933Suzuki Grand VitaraFriends....I am considering replacing my Chevrolet Tracker with a 2008 -2010 Suzuki Grand Vitara but I am confused about the 4x4 drive systems. My Tracker is a 4X4 (4H,4L and N). Since the Tracker is actually a Suzuki wearing the Chevrolet name I assumed all Suzuki 4X4's were the same until I read the following excerpt from an Edumunds.com review of the 2010 Grand Vitara; "Rear-wheel drive is standard, and all trims except for the Base can be optioned with four-wheel drive. The Premium trim's optional 4WD is a single-mode system (as is the Premium Special Edition), while all XSport and Limited trims get four-mode 4WD (4H, 4H Lock, 4L Lock and N). The four-mode system's neutral (N) setting allows the Grand Vitara to be flat-towed behind a recreational vehicle without mileage accumulation. XSport and Limited 4WD V6 models also come with hill descent control." My question is what is the difference between the "single mode" 4x4 drive system and the "four mode"4x4 drive system? Can vehicles equipped with either system be flat towed? Your comments about the two drive systems will be appreciated. Many thanks...Duracell Golf Cart BatteriesFriends....the two 12 volt Interstate batteries in my Class C are about ready to die from old age. I am considering replacing them with a pair of Duracell GC2 6 volt golf cart batteries sold by Sam's Club. I will appreciate any comments about these particular batteries (good or bad). Many thanks.Comfort or Heavy Duty Bilstein ShocksI have a question about Bilstein shocks. Later this month I am going to replace the shocks on the front of my 30 foot 2008 Winnebago Class C. The vehicle is built on a 2007 Ford E450 chassis. I am going to use Bilstein shocks but I am uncertain which type I should purchase. Bilstein offer s a "Comfort" line and a "Heavy Duty" line. My question is what is the difference between the two lines as far as ride quality, handling, etc. Which one is most appropriate for my vehicle?Oversized TiresHi Folks.....I have a question about tires. Later this month I plan to replace the tires on my 2008 Winnebago 29B Class C (Ford E450). I am considering installing tires that are one size larger than the original size(LT235/85R16EvsLT225). I want to do this to gain a small but important bit of additional road clearance. Three years ago I installed a set of Bigfoot levelers which allow only seven inches of road clearance with the stock tires. I have on occasion "bottomed out" on the rear levelers when going up a steep driveway or pulling off onto the shoulder of a road.. The larger tires will fit without binding anything in the front and they will afford sufficient clearance between the rear duals. I will appreciate any comments or suggestions concerning handling, power, gas mileage, load capacity or any other issue. Many, many thanks.
