replacement fridge
Had posted previously about a fridge replacement. 05 Pacearrow gas which has a side by side Dometic fridge, Want to install a house one in. Avanti brand was mentioned as a perfect slide-in. They are 24in. wide whereas the space I need to fill is 32in.Has anybody found a model that will fill a 60in by 32wide by 27deep space Thanks1.1KViews0likes3CommentsRe: surge protectors
Been rvin 13yrs. Never had a problem. So....4days ago at 3 in the morning, guess what!Yup. Took out the fridge, convection micro, water cooler, beer fridge and a couple of small items.Only thing that saved the laptop is the little surge protector in the multi-plug cord I was using.Smell of burnt wire woke me up.Inside of plug-in was black and burnt.Rig is staying in Arizona....Im going home to Canada in a couple of days.Will be coming back in the fall with a surge protector for sure.416Views0likes0CommentsReplacing Dometic fridge
I have a 05 pacearrow gas that has the stainless steel side by side Dometic fridge that I would like to replace with a standard house fridge.Is there anyone out there that has done that with this type of mh? Thanks for the info.Fireup.....I did find a extension cord with multi-ports that had shorted out pretty bad.It could have blown the GFI which in turn shut the power to the fridge and micro. The fuse saved the fridge. Does anyone know if the microwave has a fuse?Its a Sharp 1874...pretty standard in most MH. Have a 2005 Pacearrow gas.Is there a converter on this rig and if yes where would it be.Also, when the rig is plugged into 50amps,how is the power separated between 220 and 110? Does the converter do this?Problem Im having is this morning the power went off in my rig. The park pedestel was ok but the fuse blew on my fridge, and the convection microwave quit. I think it got fried.It also shut the gfi down in the bath which killed the power for the plugins.Park says if there was a power surge, the main breaker on the pedestel would shut down.They say its probably the converter that causede all the headache. Have a 05 Fleetwood with a 2-door side by side Dometic fridge. On the big door, when it is closed, it will not seal tight. I was able to give it a little push and it would seal tight but in the last couple of days, it will not stay tightly closed. I cant see the hinge being out of adj. Is it possible the rubber seal around the door needs to be replaced? The temp still stays at 41 degrees.4.2KViews0likes10Comments
