Re: Roadmaster RR4R suspension upgrade
My MH is a 04 Safari Cheetah 40. I will be installing the upgraded trailing arms even though mine look perfect. They are the original arms. The coach only has 27K miles and the first owner had it in a climate controlled garage. the underside looks new. Does anyone have experience with the Source Engineering suspension upgrade? My MH is a hard ride on rough roads and when hitting seams in the road. The cost of the upgrade is $2300, would like to know if it makes a big difference as advertized.3KViews0likes8CommentsSafari with RR4R chassis
I am looking to purchase a 40SRT Cheetah that has a RR4R chassis. The dealer is checking to see if the recall was accomplished and will correct if not done. It also has a Koni suspension optional upgrade ( I believe for the sway bar). It appears to drive and ride nice. I am interested in buying a 03 coach. Although it only has 57K on the coach, the generator has 3500 hours. The owner boondocked a lot at races. It is a 7.5kw Onan QD diesel. This is many more hours than a lot of others I have looked at. Should I be concerned with this many hours? I am looking to buy one of two mh. One is a 03 holiday rambler 38' and thr other is a 03 american revolution. Both appear equal in condition, have about 55k miles and are priced at $55K.
