One issue I have had with this model is that the directions are often given as "turn right onto John Doe Highway" as opposed to turn right onto Rt 234. This is very annoying when traveling and have no knowledge that a highway may have another "title" in addition to route number. Do all Garmins perform this way? Also, would like recommendation for simple to use gps that has free USA and Canada updates and can input via voice. Don't need RV specific unit, blue tooth, or anything too techy. Thanks in advance!Air Conditioner NoiseCurrently have two campers--Wildcat fifth wheel and an RPod. Purchased Rpod 179 last year to determine if we would be happy downsizing. Really like the unit but determined we want a bed accessible from both sides and a dry bath. Plan is to sell both units and buy a new TT with a maximum length of 24' (Bumper to hitch). Have been looking through this forum and gathering info. One thing we disliked in the RPod was how noisy the air conditioner was. Looked at a Rockwood Mini Lite 2304KS that has ducted air conditioning. In a unit this small would the duct work reduce the noise significantly? Is there a particular AC unit that is readily available and reasonably quiet? Thanks for any info. Rvingnut, NW PAPark Model/Trailer/Cabin Rental FL-Okeechobee or OcalaWant to escape PA winter. Live back in and icy roads have us thinking of renting a park model, trailer, or cabin for March, 2015, instead of towing the 5th wheel. Know it is late but would like to know if anyone could recommend a rv park or campground that might have something available. Would like a pool. Anyone know anything about Blue Cypress Golf and RV Resort? Thinking either Lake Okeechobee area or Ocala area. Thanks. Thinking of green!Re: Starlite RV Park, Okeechobee, FLNot listed on rvparkreviews.com. Little info on net except for their site.Starlite RV Park, Okeechobee, FLInterested in this park for Feb/Mar 2015. Looking for a park with decent size lots, clean restrooms, quiet nights, and easy access to highway. See this has a pool-great. How is the park maintained? Sure this snow has lots of Yankees thinking of the south.:)Re: State Fair & CampgroundsSorry I wasn't clear but I was referring to the Alaska State Fair, Palmer, AK. Enjoy fairs, but most particularly was interested in activities, exhibits that would make this unique Alaska that people enjoyed at previous Alaska State Fairs at Palmer. RvingnutState Fair & CampgroundsConsidering attending the 2014 State Fair in Aug. Remember seeing pics of huge vegetables as a kid. For those who have been there, is it worth the time? Are there many campgrounds in that area? Would camping reservations be necessary? Thanks, RvingnutJayco "Aliner type" folding trailerJust saw at local Jayco dealer a hard sided popup trailer styled like the Aliner brand. Went to Jayco's website and couldn't find any info about it. This one was called a 12H and was the new colors. Anyone know about this?Florida RV Park or Campground on the BeachWe are "mini" snowbirds usually heading south mid-late Feb and staying about six weeks. This year I have the urge to stay on the beach for a week or two. Any recommendations? Have a fifth wheel but want a campground/rv park that has restrooms and showers. Hubby would like cable but he could "rough it" a week or two. Would like a warm location as it's 10 degrees here in PA at noon. Would there be any sites available at that time?
