Thank you.Looking forHi, My wife and i are getting ready to head north from Yuma, Arizona to Washington state through Las Vegas. We have a 42' Keystone Raptor and we are pulling it with a 1 ton crew cab dually so we have a pretty large set up and with all of that we do not have a ton of towing experience, some but again not a ton. We are hoping someone out there can give us some tips on this question. We are looking for a place to park for a day or two that might be easier than most areas getting in and out on or near the west side of the city of Las Vegas. In particular in or around the Spring Valley area along freeway #215. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.Cover for my 2011 Raptor 3912 VelocityHi and thank you for your time. We just purchased a pre owned 2011 Keystone Raptor model 3912 Velocity Toy hauler. We have decided after all the research we have done that a RV cover is something we will be needing. The question is we were advised to measure our hauler which we did and it measures out at 42'10" roughly and we are not seeing too many covers for a 5th wheel for something that measures that big. Will the covers that are advertised at 41' in length work? Is there any room to play with a cover advertised at 41'. We can see there are pros and cons to covers but we just can't see that cover that is properly installed wouldn't be a benefit. We will be in Arizona. Also we noticed that a cover that fits correctly is critical so any suggestions on that subject would be appreciated as well. Is there a certain brand that fits a coach like ours better that another. Any tips and suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you, FrankRe: RV cover question for a Keystone Raptor WhitehouseLV wrote: Hi Frank - congratulations on your Raptor. We sure enjoy ours. You might try asking in the Toyhauler forum. There are probably other companies making semi-custom covers also ... Thank you Bill and Kate. We will look at the CalMark covers.RV cover question for a Keystone RaptorHi and thank you for your time. We just purchased a pre owned 2011 Keystone Raptor model 3912 Velocity Toy hauler. I would make sure the slide is aligned properly and no longer leaking. i would also make sure everything on the roof is good, water can travel inside the roof and run on framing to a low point. The framing is also aluminum, so no rot there. We have the same camper, same year, same model, just not with the velocity package. We love it, and it has been good to us. The only issue we had was with a tire blowing and ripping the skirting off of the raptor. We just upgraded to 17.5 tires to get rid of that problem. mark I am thinking there is no major issues and that the slide may need to just be adjusted. I was more concerned that there were structural issues with the coach. It does look like the same set up i had on my 2006 Raptor which means there are plenty of them out there working well with no problems. Are the slides easy to adjust if needed?Re: 2011 Keystone Raptor 3912 Velocity DutchmenSport wrote: Is it just a water stain, or is it actual water damage. If it's just a stain, like stated above, it could be the slide seal, or possibly, the slide was pulled in during rain, and it just stained. Look closer at it. If it appears to be just surface then there's not much to be concerned over. If it's got wood rot (for example, the paneling), then RUN! It didn't appear to be wood rot and did look more like a water stain. There was no damage at all to the inside paneling or anywhere else in the master bedroom.2011 Keystone Raptor 3912 VelocityI am considering a preowned 2011 3912 Keystone Raptor Velocity. The coach appears very clean but at the head of the master bedroom bed there appears to have been a slight water leak at one time or another. The particle board that the mattress sits on and at the top end of the board is where some water reached. There is no other evidence of water ending up anywhere else other than at the top part of the bed area. The walls and floor around the head of the bed looks fine with no issues. What i am wondering has there been any known issues with this coach in regards to this issue and or the master bedroom slide? The coach is like new and has never been damaged. We have owned a 2006 Raptor and the master bedroom slide design looks very similar. We just want to make sure there is no design issue that has been exposed that we don't know about. Any tip or thoughts on this issue and on this particular coach would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Frank
