The one that I have in there now doesn't work to play CD's any more and the digital radio display seems to be missing some LEDs and you cant read the station very well. I know I want something that will pull in a local radio station so I can listen to an afternoon baseball game or check the weather if I'm somewhere with no data coverage, play a CD since my wife still seems to listen to them and hook up to my phone or an ipod either wirelessly or with a cable so I can access the songs on my phone or Pandora. The DVD feature would be nice but not absolutely necessary. I just thought it would save from having another component since my TV and stereo are in close proximity to one another. I assume there would be a way to hook up the stereo to the tv and play DVD's on there?Re: New StereoConcertone says to replace my current model with this one: http://www.concertone.com/zx800.htmlhttp://www.concertone.com/zx800.html but I'm not paying $700 for a radio. The least expensive one I can find of this model is on ebay for around $300. Is this radio really worth $300?New StereoCan anyone recommend a reasonably priced RV or car stereo to replace my old one? I'm looking for something with am/fm, cd, Bluetooth would be nice or at least the option to connect to phone or iPad. DVD function would be a plus. The stereo i have now is 7-1/2" x 10-1/2" tall and there is not much more room than that on either side of it.Re: one legged campingWhat a great story. I hope everything is going well for the OP. It is great inspiration to me since I just had my right foot amputated 3 days ago.Starcraft Spacemaster Lift System?Does anyone know who manufactured the lift system on a '97 Starcraft Spacemaster model 1224? By all accounts I thought that Goshen made all lift systems for Starcraft pop ups from '93-'08 but when I called Goshen Stampings after much deliberation it appears that they did not make the lift system for that model. Anyone have any idea as to who DID make the lift system for this? This camper is owned by a friend of mine so I don't know a lot about it, just trying to help him out if I can.Re: What's my 5th wheel worth?Sadly, no newer, bigger 5er is in my immediate future. I was pulling this one with my half ton Dode truck and it is not in the cards to purchase a new camper AND truck at this time. We are actually thinking of going back down to a pop-up again because it would actually fit our style of camping better plus it would be a lot easier on my aging truck and easier to store.Re: What's my 5th wheel worth?I ended up getting $700 for it. I'm happy to get rid of it but sad to see it go :(Re: What's my 5th wheel worth? Old-Biscuit wrote: NADA lists it 'Low Retail'--------$1,870 'High Retail'--------$2,250 Subtract $12K for new roof. You'd be lucky to have someone come drag it away. Sorry but trailers with rot just don't sale very well. You are probably right but the value you are quoting is before adding in any features. I actually got a value of $4330.00.What's my 5th wheel worth?I have a 1993 Coachmen Catalina 24' fifth wheel. Everything on it works perfect, stove, fridge, water heater, ac, etc. I replaced the blue carpet with laminate flooring and the upholstery is in great shape. The exterior and the awning is in ok shape for a 1993. It,s a smaller 5th wheel that makes it legal to pull a boat or other trailer behind it here in MN. It has a receiver hitch for just that. Minnesota is a huge fishing state and lots of campers also fish and boat here. The only problem is the roof is completely shot. It leaks and parts of it are rotten. I think the whole thing needs to be torn off and replaced. At least the back half anyway. What do you think I could get for it? I'm just not up to the project and it's time for something different anyway. Do you think there are many people out there that would take on a project like this, if so how much do you think they would pay? I'm hoping I could get at least a couple grand for it since everything else is in good shape. What do you think?Re: Refrigerator won't acknowledge ACPosted By: enblethen on 08/01/13 08:44pm I see come corrosion on the mounting grounding screw near J2. You may want to clean up this. It could be a poor ground not allowing the circuit board to work properly. Other then that it is new board ttime. Get model and serial number. If it is a Dinosaur board call them for assistance. I was thinking about that too. Do you think it really matters for 110? I think I will replace the screw and clean off the corrosion on the board under the screw head and try it anyway.
