Was my first thought.Re: Jayco Eagle HT vs Rockwood Signature QualityJayco 5th wheel here....my outback pull trailer blows the Jayco out of the water in terms of little details (and a few big ones...like my 2 grey tanks valves were switched with my black....bad first day with that). Just a lot of little stuff that is getting annoying to the point we are tentatively looking for something else. I have replaced over 50 screws inside, numerous cupboard clamps (fell off), and re-nailed all mouldings....I think my Amish builders were not Amish buiders.Jayco Eagle and f250 puller questions....a fewWe have logged many miles on our Jayco Eagle 33.5 RETS in the past 3 years....yellowstone, glacier, and rushmore from Albuq. First off I must say that the sales talk about dedicated Amish folks building these by hand is total BS...workmanship and details are **** on this rig. I have replaced almost every screw in the cabin and re-nailed all the moulding...that being said, we love the floor plan, so we suck it up...2 year warranty stuff (many items) was dedicated to bigger (drunk amish??) issues. I digress....I do have some legit questions. I had 2 (both sides unfortunately) blowouts on this last trip. No damage beyond the wheel fenders and some bent metal, thank goodness. I have replaced the wheel wells, but noticed yesterday 2 random (white) wires hanging from the axle area. They look like they are part of brake system and at the end of the line (I can follow the others through all 4 wheels, and they end at this wheel). Any ideas what I should do?? Cap them? Unite them? I can get a pic if need be. 2nd question is about the f250. It seems to really sag in the back end when hooked up. The trailer is level and really rides nicely, but that back end sag looks really ugly on a nice truck! Should I get airbags? I think that the trailer level is more important than the truck. BTW....if you have a slider hitch, use it...got careless (day of 2nd blowout, I was tired after a long day) and blew out my back driver window...great end to a great dsy!!! Thanks all!!Re: 2104 Jayco eagle 5th...window in kitchen got blown out.bought it march 2104.....warranty ran out....just annoying that they don't have that info based on my "on file purchase/exact model" at the site. Order, and call me when in....it's a pain to take up there and measure what they already should know!!!Re: 2104 Jayco eagle 5th...window in kitchen got blown out.Trying to post a pic of the window!! Won't let me!!2104 Jayco eagle 5th...window in kitchen got blown out.We lost our kitchen twist from middle knob out window driving this summer...there when we started, not when we stopped!! It is, I believe, Frameless, G20 dark-tinted, safety-glass window. I have not measured it, but can...it is sealed up now. It looks pretty easy to install, after taking out broken parts. Slides in on top, and attaches to "crank" arms at bottom. My question is this....where the heck can I find these?? I have googled every possible combo, and just keep keep getting "for sale" results. I called my dealer and they said (of course) bring it in so we can measure it and special order it. This has to be available somewhere for me to buy and put in myself! Is it? Or do I need to hook it up, take it in, wait a million years for it to be done for 500 bucks.... it's probably around 20"x30" ....any ideas?? please??Quick connect faucet question....2nd time this happened to me (yes I know how to winterize, but this part is cheapo)....I have a quick connect faucet outside in my 5th, and the cheap plastic male portion has cracked....not the big metal quick connect...it is not a fancy faucet by any means...the "main piece" is the connector, and that is fine!! Only way you can but it is is all one piece with a new connector...where can I find just the cheap POS faucet with the male connector to the (now 2) connectors I have?? I don't need the piece that costs any money, just the crappy faucet and I will screw the metal connecter to it.Re: Trip: Albuquerque to Yellowstone, back through Grand TetonsThanks all....I will look into these...we are tripping in late July for fishing and beauty!! Fished Slough Creek as a teen with my Grandparents when we stayed there rv'ing...it was 1976ish...long time ago!!!Trip: Albuquerque to Yellowstone, back through Grand TetonsGoing up to West Yellowstone through Moab. We will stay at West Yellowstone area (and NP) for a few days. Then plan to go south to Grand Tetons NP....we will then head south back to Albuquerque and pick our way through western CO...Any good suggestions for West Yellow stone area and Grand Tetons (north entrance)??? We can live with what I find on the way there and back....p.s. I am an AVID fly fisherman!! We have a 36" fifther, and will need to dump and fill every few days (DW likes her water usage!!)...thanks!!!
