My 2005 CR-V is a great car, and an excellent tow vehicle, and I was all set to buy a new 2015 CR-V to replace it. But, NO, Honda in its great wisdom, decided to ignore the RV towing market (yes I know its just a speck in their sales needs), and replace an otherwise great 5 speed automatic with this "variable ratio", or whatever they call it non-towable tramsmision. Well, all I can say is "I hope they choke on this unwise move"!!! I am no longer a Honda advocate. Comments?????Re: Dual wheel valve extendersThanks, fellows, for the info you have posted re "Dually Valve Extenders", etc., and the usage you have had of same. As usual, this forum is the greatest!!!!Dual wheel valve extendersI am replacing my tires, and am currently using Wheel Master stainless steel braided extenders. However, I would like to switch to the one piece 90 degree bend solid brass extenders for the rear duals. Any recommendations/suggestions from forum members as to brands, types, costs etc. would be appreciated. ThanksSlide out arm "slide locks"I have a 14 year old Carefree Omega I slide topper on my motorhome, on which the awning hardware and fabric was recently destroyed/damaged in a windstorm. This is the type of slide topper that pulls on down over the windows to make a window awning. It is no longer manufactured by Carefree, and the "slide locks" are not available from Carefree, but the replacement fabric is available. Does anyone have any idea where I might find these slide out arm locks?? I really do not want to replace the entire awning, but the awning can not be used (locked into its upright/travel) position with out these locks. Thanks for any ideas, or suggestions how I might even be able to use this awning (lock the arms for travel) if I can't find the replacement slide locks.
