My dealer had a bazillion cherokees on the lot and none of them had the transmission option. Had to look around and find one.Re: Recommended class A gasserAs others have said, make sure to really search to see what is available in Newmar or Tiffin. I am new to class a and just pulled the trigger on a Newmar Bay Star 3124. It is exactly 32'5" including the ladder. We found a great deal on a brand new 2017 model. We also looked at Ace, Forrest River and Fleetwood and the quality comparison wasn't close.Re: Dish Pay as You Go confusion Ed_Gee wrote: newman fulltimer wrote: When done you pay 5.00.00 and they put your acct on hold till you pay the next payment. And everything can be done online or by text DO NOT let them put your Pay as you go account on PAUSE. DO NOT ASK FOR PAUSE OR SYSPEND. When you are done using your Pay as you go monthly service you can either just let it lapse or call them and ask that it be terminated or cancelled. If terminated or cancelled, Dish WILL credit your account and the next time you start a 30 day Pay as you go session they should credit a pro-rated Amount from your previously unfinished 30 day period. This is what they have done for me and others. xCaveat - the customer service reps do tend to be totally ignorant on Pay as you go accounts....you may have to ask for a supervisor if you have difficulty with our telephone rep. Perfect. This is exactly the explanation I needed. Is it a pain to restart? Do you retain your account number since you "terminated" the service? Do they get tired of seeing you constantly cancel and restart? Seems they would catch on to what you are doing, lol. Also is there a specific number or department you call since most of the reps are not RV savvy?Re: Dish Pay as You Go confusionThanks for the reply. Yes I know what it says. I have heard you simply call them and they de-activate it. I would assume by day, not hour. When you are ready to use again, you call them and they re-activate. Even the customer service rep said he has heard the same thing but he was not authorized to tell me so. Was just wondering of anyone on here did it and how.Dish Pay as You Go confusionSo I just bought a new class a and want to get it set up on Dish Pay as You go. I do not use Dish at home. I was told the deal is that you pay a month in advance and you use it until that moth of time is used up. How does that work? I just called Dish and he said there was no policy in which you use it for a football weekend, then cut it off for 3 month for example and still have 27 days left. I read somewhere to expect the customer service person to explain it that way and you have to get past them, which I never could. So from your experience, exactly how does it work? Can i truly shut it off after a couple of days of use and still have 28 days left of my prepaid 30 days to use at a later date? What do I need to do on my initial phone call to them and then what is the trick to really only use a little bit at a time?Re: HELP! 1st time Class A searchI see where Tiffin just introduced a 31' Allegra Breeze diesel pusher. Too bad I can't afford that....Re: HELP! 1st time Class A searchjust wondering if anyone had any more thoughts? Also looking at Coachman as well.HELP! 1st time Class A searchNot new to camping but new to the Class A world. Built a great new garage last year to house our TT and now of course we want to upgrade to a class a. Limit is 33'. So that puts me in the gassers and I am ok with that. Looking at Winnebago Vista LX 30T, Fleetwood Flair 30U, Jayco Precept 30UL and Newmar 3124 or 3113. Any thoughts? We absolutely love all the features of the Jayco (large fridge, 2 AC pretty much standard, very nice outdoor TV, etc) but hear horror stories on the Jayco quality. Several dealers currently have left over 2016 models less than $100K. Not sure if we would like the buffet style table of the Winnebago. The shower in the Fleetwood was tiny but everything else seemed pretty nice. No comments really needed on the Newmar, just can't find a good deal on one right now. Also with the full slide, it seems the storage compartments would be hard to get to. Thanks for your inputsRe: RV and bad mattressAlso I will make the link more user friendly if I just knew how.....lol. Not sure how to make it where you can just click on it without copying and pasting the link. Nevermind....i fixed itRV and bad mattressFor those of you that wish your RV had a more comfortable mattress, I have found getting a new memory foam topper at Walmart works great. I also just found this at Sam's Club if you want to replace the whole mattress. Sams Club rv mattress
