We are located in Indy so that's a really long tow! ;)Marco Island RV ParkSearch did not reveal any recommendations for Marco Island. Nicest RV park available there? 42' Coach and looking for a picturesque setting if possible. Thanks for any advice.Re: Onan 10K QD Code 45- Speed sense fault issueI did have to take it in to the dealer. They replaced the control board (I don't recall the cost but it wasn't enough to choose to replace the unit.) I have had zero issues since. Best of luck.Re: Onan 10K QD Code 45- Speed sense fault issueTried to find this and the only thing under the start/stop switch is the radiator fill. Off to Cummins Onan dealer to pay through the nose! But thanks.Re: Onan 10K QD Code 45- Speed sense fault issueThanks! I will give it a try.Onan 10K QD Code 45- Speed sense fault issueThe title of the topic is my issue. Pulled the coach out of storage and I get a Code 45 error. My internet search on this issue has been pretty much fruitless. Model: HDCAA 10K Quiet Diesel. Any thoughts on what to check? I have seen folks say it could be a fuel issue but I replaced filter at the end of last year so I don't think it would be plugged. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.Indianapolis to Outer BanksHeading to Rodanthe tomorrow in the motorhome. Looks like the best highway route is down through Lousiville and east through Lexington and Huntington, WV. Then looking to head down through West Virginia to Greensboro. East therefrom through Rocky Mount and then out to the island. Did not think that heading through Richmond and down would be the best way. Thoughts? Any issues on the OBX? Never been there and looking forward to it with my wife and 8 and 10 year olds.Re: Post Overland Expo respite to the OBX: picsAny issues traveling down? We are heading to Rodanthe from Indianapolis tomorrow in our coach. Thanks.Re: Shortest 6 volt battery"I found no six volt DEEP cycle under 11 inches" That is what my research revealed as well. NAPA is warrantying the 3 split batteries so I am going to stay with them and modify the battery trays this Winter for the added height. A shorter battery would be soooo much easier though! Thanks for all the help!Shortest 6 volt batteryThree of my 4 NAPA 6 volt batteries split their cases most likely due to our incredibly cold weather this Winter. I need to replace them but they were a bit tall to begin with for my existing slides. I was able to make them work but everything was really tight. The NAPA 8144 I had measured 10 7/8 tall and I'd love to find a battery that was no taller than 10". Anyone have any ideas? The Trojans I could find appear to tall. I may go back to 12 volt to gain a shorter battery. Thanks.
